Needed some plumbing work done. Found Kaufman Plumbing. Hired them to add a kitchen sink and faucet and bathroom sink and faucet. The did a great job. The owner quoted the job. His employee Perry arrived along with the owner to start the job. I like that. Everyone was on the same page. I love the way they did the work and cleaned after the job was done and they also took the trash with them. Bravo!

From the minute I contacted Kaufmann Plumbing every person I've dealt with has been extremely professional and friendly. Linda in the office has been a joy to talk to and has been very responsive. I had 4 separate issues going on and the plumber did an excellent job with the repairs and with the installation of some new equipment. I would highly recommend!

The service was probably the best I've ever had. They showed up on time and came prepared to work with all the parts. No need to run to the store every minute. They cleaned up after themselves and confirmed everything was in working order before they left.

The plumber they sent to me last year was excellent. I gave a check to their worker. Months later they say they never got it and sent it into collections. The woman on the phone was rude. It wasn't until I pressed her that she stated that this worker had been fired a short time after. I asked her to check her bank statements to see if they had deposited the check and she declined to do so. I have to pay to cancel the check which is on me. This company is disorganized and unprofessional. The two stars are for the plumber they fired. I would have given him five but with their zero stars for customer service it averaged out to two.

I called Kaufman plumbing after 2 other plumbers had not shown up for scheduled appt. Kaufman was able to come out the following day. The Plumber's work was efficient and professional (replaced a toilet) However, after completing the work, the plumber went outside and was talking on his phone for 10-15 minutes. He then returned with the bill that claimed the work took 90 minutes. I pointed out that he had only worked for one hour (which was consistent with the estimate provided). He was argumentative, but could not tell me when he began or ended the work. I called the office the next day. The person didn't even listen to my concern- she was defensive and insisted that the plumber had been at my house for over 90 minutes. Although this was not a significant amount of money, I believe they were blatantly padding the bill, and due to the response to my concern, I felt this was not an uncommon occurrence. I will go elsewhere next time.

Had Kaufmann out to our La Quinta home to unclog a drain line. Said they'd arrive between 8 & 9 am. Doorbell rang at 8:05. Robert (the tech) introduced himself and asked me to describe the issue. After explaining what was going on, he did a thorough review and inspection of fixtures associated with the drain line, determined a course of action. He finished clearing the line and then did a thorough review of the line and the associated fixtures. Outstanding & professional customer service. Will definitely have them on speed dial for future problems.

Turns out I was charged $160 in labor costs for a simple replacement of a pull-out hose in the kitchen faucet. The repair required two trips, because they didn't have the part they needed the first time. The woman on the phone told me that their failure to carry the part (for my newish, not terribly exotic HansGrohe faucet) was ""not their fault,"" which I guess makes it my fault. Too bad, because I had a good experience with the actual plumber guys.

We had gas leak that required the gas to be turned off at our house. I contacted a number of plumbing companies and the thing that set Kaufmann apart from the others was (1) they were able to get there right away to check it out and do some diagnosis and (2) they didn't start out saying they wanted to re-plumb the entire house like some other plumbers did.

The office staff at Kaufmann (Linda) is great. Organized, humorous, friends and accurate. All I could ask for. Reno, the lead plumber, called me and walked me through some options and money-saving ideas. He also made some really bright suggestions (like up-sizing the gas line to the water heater for an eventual upgrade to a tankless and installing a ""T"" in one of the gas lines for a future gas grill. Two things I never would have thought of.

In the end the job came in exactly on budget and also exactly the same as another highly recommended plumber that I spoke to prior to hiring Kaufmann.

I am enthusiastic about Kaufmann and next time I will only have to make one call. To Linda.

Our first experience was Good, Called them back to complete a Job that was waiting on completion of our remodel, and they became very Flaky. Bummer for us Adrian was a Good Worker.
