Just had Kauai AC & Refrigeration out to for annual preventative maintenance on our one-year old Mitsubishi unit - - and, same as with the original install, their service technician Stetson did a great job!! He not only explained the importance and benefits of the preventative actions he performed, but he was as personable and customer-service oriented as ever! Beware! My AC was not working so I.called Kauai Aircondtioning and refrigeration to come take a look. They sent a technician within a few days to look at it. He spent about 45 minutes, took the panel off and looked inside, went outside to check the unit and told me that both my inside and outside electronic boards were fried and need new ones. Tech visit $218.72. I paid it. Later I got a bid to replace said boards - cost $ 2715.31. I called cool it Kauai for second opinion. Tech came out promptly. Took a look. Said reset switch was off reset it. Unit working perfectly. Technician cost $175. It only took him 20 minutes max. You decide who would use?

He clearly explained things, worked quickly and carefully, cleaned up after the installation. Colby, Joanna & Maja did a great job communicating. What a great team they are!

Kauai AC installed our office system at a very reasonable price, thousands below the next bidder and with a suggested time frame for install weeks less . With the rolling blackouts of last July, problems arose and Kauai AC was at our office within hours to assess the damage and immediately initiated repairs. Since then they have serviced the system when needed with the utmost speed and courtesy, always communicating and fully cognizant that a modern office cannot operate without a functioning AC system.

Had to wait a bit to get an appointment due to their busy schedule, but on the appointed day, they arrived on time, got right down to work and fixed everything in short order. My control panel was found to be the problem so they went to their truck, got another, installed it then checked the rest of the system. So nice to have everything fixed in one service call. Office personnel and service techs we pleasant and professional. Definitely recommend and will use again if needed.
