Kanga Rooter broke my bracket and refuses to repair!
DO NOT RECOMEND!
TERRIBLE!!! Got the sewer-line rooted 1 week ago. Last night there's waste backed up. Normal rooters stay for about an hour and send the line a couple times, these guys were here for about 15 minutes. They probably only sent the line 1 time for half the distance. Stay away, there are both cheaper and more reputable services out there. This week to fix the problem they never did, they want to get paid again. I'm reporting them to BBB for sure.
Melissa S.Horrible. Please do not waste your time or your money. Jess came to our house a year ago to diagnose our beeping battery which he replaced for $700. Being a woman and a new homeowner I didn't know any better. The warranty on the battery was for one year. Approx one year later, 2012. The battery starts beeping. Jess comes out only this time to tell us we need a new sump pump. When I asked how much he replied 'at least a couple of thousand dollars'. I educated myself being googling watchdog battery and obtaining a second opinion. Long story short, Jess is a liar. The only thing i needed was a watch dog battery and not a Marine battery. The cost out of pocket was approx $300..battery , installation etc . I will make a formal complaint with the BBB and make a written complain to the states attorney as I think this company operates a scam. The same guy tried to get me to buy a sump pump!!! I had two plumbers come out and it was only a bad battery that Kangarooter sold me. I called the CEO of the company who refunded my $50 service call charge but refuses to return my money for the bad battery they sold me, after I supplied documentation. Jess is a salesman in a plumbers uniform. Women and elderly please beware. Do your homework; most of all dial a plumber who is ethical and not after your money.
Ralph S.My water heater went out on a Sunday afternoon. George at KangaRooter took my call and saw that Scott had just finished another call in my area. Scott was here in 15 minutes!
He dignosed the problem, presented me with options regarding installation of a new water heater, and the new one was installed within 1 1/2 hours. Scott was professionable, friendly, and efficient!
This company came to my home 2x. The first time the guy was more like a salesman than a technician. He was more concerned with selling me some 1600 deal. He was afraid to get his feet dirty my drain was still running slow when he left. 3 years later we had them out and they are still awful! The communication between the dispatch and the techs is terrible. I told them exactly what my problem was with my tree roots and they sent out a tech with only a 11/2 inch cutter for a 61/2 inch pipe. So I was backed up within a week. I told them I wanted the tech to come out but told him 3x to make sure to call first because I had to work. He just showed up. My son called me at work I told the tech I needed a larger cutter to get all of the roots out of our pipe so we didn't continue to back up-like I told the guy on the phone- and that this should have been done a week ago so that he wouldn't have had to come back! I ended up telling the tech that I was very disappointed in this company and the lack of communication. Having them come out was just a waste of time and money. They don't tell you the $99 special is with a tiny cutter that does nothing for you if you have tree roots-so don't bother.
