DON'T CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!!! RIPOFF!!! They are not very honest with their estimate and charge you with different amount. When the lady from their company called me for scheduling the replacement of my water heater and I told her that my heater is located under the stairway but it is wide open and they should not have problem to install it. She said that the plumber will let us know if I will get charge $150 for access fee. However, after the plumber finished the job, they charged us $150 for access fee but did not warn us before he start the job. I called the lady and she told me that the reason they charged us the access fee is because it located under the stairway. After explaining to her again, she changed her story and said that they could not fully drained the heater. Why unable to drain the heater is considered the access fee. RIDICULOUS!! On top of that the plumber took only about 1 hour to finish the work. SUCH A RIPOFF!!! Home Depot is considered to add more plumber contractors so that we don't have to go to them. We are in the process to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Worst company ever. They Don't call back. Don't follow up with you. Don't submit claims to the home warranty company on time or at all. Plumber forgets to bring a replacement toilet to the job that is to replace a toilet I can go on and on. Stay away. Far away. And for u American home shield policy holders complain to ahs so they can replace this deplorable company with one that is at least tolerable. No aloha from this company at all

Beware this company Had appointment for work to be done from Home Depot. They were no show, called office afternoon, she said stuck of different jobs , had to reschedule for another day.. Tech comes next day, rushing job, says he has a lot of jobs to do. Did messy bad work. Had to call company back that afternoon to send installer back , both jobs he did leaking. He did a better work when he came back and was not rushing. I don't know how this company is Home Depot's certified installation specialist. Check for different companies to do installation work before hiring this company.

I called Kamaaina plumbing for a repair, and was asked to send pictures to them so they could give me a better estimate. I didn't receive a call back after I took the pictures and sent it to them. Ouch!

These guys had some bad past reviews, so I was a little bit nervous. However, after having dealt with a toilet problem for over 2 months Kama'aina Plumbing was able to fix our toilet. My wife was certain we were going to have to replace it. The girls in the office were very friendly and the tech Kalani was very professional. I would highly a these guys to family and friends.

We went to Home depot to buy a water heater and wanted to use the installation service through the store. We were told it is through Kamaaina Plumbing and that they would contact us. Food for thought their ""same day installation does not apply on Saturday"" which is okay as most places do not work on the weekend, but just be aware. But we weren't called when the weekday came around until I had to call them. The lady who answers the phone is extremely rude. She sounded like she hates her job and didnt want to answer any of my questions, as a first time water heater buyer and having one that is currently leaking I honestly dont know what to do or what to expect. No prior estimates but was told it could be from 600-1000 dollars for the install, no same day, or even the next day was available. I thought maybe I came off rude at first, so I left my number to be called back if the plumbers could come by today and told my husband to give them a call a couple of hours later. She was just as rude and short with him to the point that he didn't want to deal with their company anymore and we called a local plumber to come install the water heater instead. Going to call Home Depot Corporate and file a complaint as well, and let them know if Kamaaina is a representation of them they should act accordingly.

I made a last minute call to Kamaaina Plumbing at 12pm. requesting if they could install my toilet that my neighbor had taken off and wasn't able to install the new 1, the wonderful receptionist took my information down and called me a few minutes later. She informed me that they would be able to send someone over at 3pm. the same day. Lucky me because it was so difficult to get a same day appointment. At 3pm. a young man named Kalani arrives. Kalani was so pleasant and very respectful, He installed 2 toilets for us and did a FANTASTIC job. We thanked Kalani for doing this job as a last minute notice and he said its his pleasure to help customers, he said that when someone calls he knows they really need to get it done. He is so wonderful we will use Kamaaina Plumbing should we need other work done and we will request for KALANI. Thank you Kamaaina Plumbing for having awesome staffing. Give them a call. Aloha Kuulei
