Peter was very nice.....Paid 280.00 for a fuse..unit had no power...I was told it would cost 280.00 to check wires....very hot outside...had no choice...I feel that a fuse would be the first thing they would check....I think the technician is on a percentage basis of what total dollars he can generate.....will not use again....9/15/2015 just bought 3amp fuse...cost me .75 cents..talked to another a/c person and he said on this type of Lennox A/C he would of checked the fuse first..( because of no power)

Be cautious with this company. My experience was very frustrating. Seems like prices are way too high, especially when the temps are running high!

Bought a $40 dollar groupon to do a simple maintenance. Our system was running fine but I thought it would be a good ideal to do a tuneup. Next thing I know I am told my entire system needs to be replaced running upwards for $4000-$5000. Buuuuttttt, a compressor kit for $370 will hold me over for 1-2 more years with my existing system.

The air out of the system is cool, not cold like it had been before the servicing.The second time we turn on the air after having the kit installed and getting a big thumbs up on our system it completely dies.

I have to call them out again and this time it will $440 to get it to run again. Forget it. I called another company to look into my system. Suffered for 2 days in the high temps this week before the new company could come out. It was worth it. $220 to fix and replace a few worn parts. The compressor kit i was sold by Kalka was sold to me was almost double what I would have paid if I had never called Kalka. Not happy. Seems like they run their business like a greasy car mechanic.

I will change my rating once I have someone from the company called me back. Their service was not bad. However, they charged my credit card 2x. They told me that my card was denied and needed another card to make the payment. So, I did. I paid it on my MC. Now, I see that my Amex was charged and my MC was charged for the same amount. I have called 3x now. Last week and this week, I have not heard from anyone from the company yet as I am writing this review.

My A/C would only blow warm air so I called to get it fixed. In one hour Derrick was at my house. He fixed the problem and cleaned my system very promptly. He included two filters and a tune up.
On his way out he asked if I needed help with anything else? I actually did need to move a book case. He dropped his tools and carried it to the curb for me. I am very happy that he is assigned to my account.

Rip off alert! I am a real estate broker and called these guys to come look at an ac system that wasn't working on a condo I had in escrow. I told them I needed it done quick because it was about to close escrow. They went out a couple days later (for which they charged $59). I got a call from the tech who told me it would cost $1,787 possibly more depending on other issues that may arise. I got a second estimate from another company who fixed the exact same thing for $800! He got the system working perfectly for less than half the price.

Out of all the company's I used this one is the only one I will ever use again. I wish I could give it 6 stars! My ac broke down and it was in the middle of a heat wave. They were able to show up same day . I had a young tech named derrick. He was able to fix my ac and only charged a 79$ fee. It turns out my dog chewed threw a wire and shorted out the system causing a fuse to pop. I was blown away on how honest he was . I was expecting to pay a lot of money since my ac is very old but he was very knowledgeable and very honest . He recommended a air scrubber to help my wife and I with our allergies. .. I was a little sticker shocked but I trusted him. After only a week we noticed a big difference in our allergie problem . And after a month we noticed no more dust around the house . This device did exactly as he said . Now that I see the results I'm thinking about adding one at my mother's house . Couple months later I had another follow up furnace tune up that was complimentary. .I had a older fella named Steve gulley... He tore that unit apart to make sure it was still a safe unit (16 years old) to his surprise it was still in good condition . He cleaned it up and recommended to sign up for their club membership witch it did.. When the time comes I will replace my unit with this company. Thanks again guys

We were referred to Kalka Air by a neighbor who had been very happy with their work. During the recent heatwave, Darren came to our home on a Friday afternoon and tried to fix our water leakage problem. Reps from other companies who came to our home just said we needed a whole new system and didn't even try to blow out the drainage line. As it turned out, after the drainage line was unclogged, the unit still leaked. After 22 years of life, this system did need replacement. Since our home is older, we had been unable to get duct cleaning since the ducts had asbestos. Therefore we opted to get new duct work along with a new furnace and A/C unit. The owner, Kevin, came to our home and was very knowledgeable and gave us different options. We are thrilled with our experience with the entire staff at Kalka. The installers were professional and instilled confidence and pride in the work they performed. It was a big job but it was done seamlessly and with the utmost of care. It's comforting to work with a business that is owned by an individual that stands behind his company and employs workers who take pride in their work and respect the homeowner's environment. We couldn't have asked for better service or equipment. We got a 5 ton Trane A/C unit and a Trane furnace. From our research, this is the best brand available. I highly recommend working with Kalka if you want to have piece of mind in your investment.

This company is not for vent cleaning ........

I purchased $179 for unlimited vent cleaning and sanitizing.
Technician do not like cleaning vent .He was AC\Heater tune up specialist,
I had 3 reschedule for service.
Technician did not had replacement filter for my home.
instead he charged me $58 to brush vents,
Tech charged additional for brushing but never asked for credit for not not having two replacement filters that he was suppose to replace.

This was waste of time and money
