These guys are crooks! I asked for an estimate to install a thermostat. They wouldn't give me one over the phone. My appointment was changed 3 times and when the tech came out he quoted me $331 and I had the thermostat! I told the guy he was nuts so he said he would step outside and call his boss. He came back in the house and said his boss wouldn't come down in price and that he just needed to collect the $59 service call fee and would be on his way. I refused to pay and sent him on his way! Clearly they pushed the woman button on their calculator and the tech had no idea what hit him! Be careful with this company as they are out to gauge you!

Excellent customer service. Kevin was very professional. tune-up service for Furnace and A/C completed in a timely manner. Gave a 4 instead of a 5, did not arrive in scheduled time slot but communicated as to why and had technicians dispatched about an hour after scheduled time frame. Would definitely use in the future.

I used their special coupon to get a furnace check and Johnny was very tidy and efficient. He explained exactly what he was going to do and went about doing it. When he was done he explained to me what he found and gave me a written report.

My AC stopped blowing cold air and I thought it would be super expensive to fix. Kalka's Heating and Air discovered that I had slow coolant leak and fixed it. It was very inexpensive and the technician was friendly, professional and quick. I've been using Kalka Heating and Air for a long time now and have always been satisfied with their service. I will continue to use their service in the future.

Bunch of Crooks - Use them at your own Risk.... Bought a $40 Groupon , they came down and said the Refrigerant was low so had to be topped off for $195...i agreed..

the he said the pipes were backed up and had to be opened up for some water drip, he blew some air and said it is all good...

Surprise - He bills another $195 for blowing air - which is sneakily added on the bill - he never informed us of the charges - just billed us..

Lesson learnt

1. Never buy a Groupon for a Service - they are all crooks.
2. Never Deal with KALKA - biggest bunch of theives and crooks.

Credit Card Company - here comes my Dispute...

Better Business Bureau - Here comes my complaint...

Again - Stay Away from KALKA... do not take this lightly...

A tech from Kalka came to our home to fix our air conditioner. He claimed that we had a refrigerant leak, that we had air in our refrigerant line, and so we needed a new compressor. I asked him why he couldn't fix the leak and recharge the system, but he insisted that he couldn't do that with air in the line. Finally, he stated that the leak was at the valve and gave us a price of $1300 to recharge the refrigerant. We declined.

A friend referred us to Affordable Air Conditioning, and Paul came out to inspect our system. He tested the refrigerant level which was full. Our compressor wouldn't start so he replaced a capacitor and the system started right up. Affordable Air fixed our system for a reasonable price, when Kalka insisted that we needed a new system.

Kalka told us lies, tried to get us to buy unnecessary repairs, and tried to get us to buy a whole new air conditioning system. This company CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!!

I had Kevin, the owner out to my rental property this past summer when I noticed my air wasn't running properly. Kevin showed up on time, was clean and professional and his price was more than fair. When I met Kevin's technician's, they where respectful, knowledgeable and Kevin has done a great job building a high quality team.
