After 25 years with the same water heater I started to worry that it would go out at any time. I contacted Kalka and they scheduled a time for someone to come and give me a quote. They called me this morning at 8:00am to let me know Zach would be arriving at 8:30am. Zach arrived exactly at 8:30am and examined my water heater. I already knew it would need to be replaced due to its age. I liked the way Zach asked me about our hot water usage and needs BEFORE quoting a new unit. Zach and his assistant Aaron were excellent! I really appreciated Zach's attention to detail and went out of his way to make the installation perfect. I am very happy with my choice to use Kalka and I highly recommend them. Make sure to ask for Zach, you will be happy you did!

A true Lifesaver ! Zack a very nice and competent plumber found a gas leak that the pervious plumber couldn't . He was determined to find it and save the day .You don't realize how many appliances run on gas , until you don't have it ... I will only use Kalka and Zack ..

I had been through two other HVAC contractors that had ended up making the situation worse. Kalka was able to schedule appointment with Ryan the next morning, and he took care of the original issue and all the mucked up things from the previous contractors. He was very insightful and noticed details of notes I even forgot. He was very transparent with everything he was doing, which I appreciated a ton. 100% recommend Kalka especially if you have Lennox unit.

I have used Kalka Plumbing several times over the years. Both in emergencies and scheduled appointments. My last repair was done by Zach and he was very patient and took a lot of time explaining everything to me since it was a very complicated repair. He was on time, friendly and very professional. I just had my brand new furnace installed by Kalka Plumbing Heating & Air. The two young men that installed it, Adam and Aaron, were AWESOME!! They were extremely knowledgeable and went over everything with me. Any questions I had they answered them in detail. They showed up this morning and didn't stop working till about 2:00pm or so. They were very thorough and wanted to finish everything before going to lunch. They did excellent work, and even vacuumed up some particles that fell on the floor as they were working. Besides all that they were very friendly too!
I also got an amazing deal from Kalka. They took $500 off the total cost of the furnace. They are a company with integrity and I have used them for years.

Kalka is the classic upsell operation.
I had their technician out for service heater and he reported a crack in the heat exchanger and recommended it be replaced (Under warranty), but the labor would be $1800 or better yet he recommended replacing the entire unit for $6300. It's only 9 years old.
My general contractor sent out his HVAC technician today and he reported no crack or need to replace anything.

Kalka whole M.O. is to constantly try to sell you worthless additions to your system, vent cleaning services etc.

Obviously I'll never use them again and feel good I never fell for any of their tactics.

After 20 years, we finally had to face the facts and replace our HVAC system.
While these types of expenditures are never fun, I'd love to take the opportunity to recommend Kalka Plumbing Heating and Air, and also thank them for their service.

To begin with, they were very prompt and accommodating. We called on the 4th of July and we were able to get a technician over to our house on July 5th.
We knew our AC units were on their last legs for a couple years. After it was determined our issues were beyond repair, Kalka did a great job walking us through our options.

Michael was extremely knowledgeable and helpful (and patient) as we worked together on a solution that would fit our budget and meet our needs. Once the paperwork was signed, an installation crew immediately got to work.

Nobody is ever excited to have workers at their house for multiple days, but I really appreciated how courteous and friendly the employees were. Aaron and his team were very polite, hardworking and approachable with any questions.

At the end of the day we were very impressed with our experience with Kalka and walked away feeling confident about our new equipment, the installation, and the price we paid --- Not to mention it's nice and cool in our house again!!!

We will continue to use Kalka for our HVAC maintenance, and our positive experience with them has likely swayed me to use them for any future plumbing needs that may come up.

Updating my review for Kalka. They installed a full HVAC system in our current home and prior home, and we've had their HVAC maintenance program for the past two years. We had some challenges with scheduling, but they've more than made up for it with improved service. Looking forward to continuing my maintenance program for the next few years to keep my furnace and AC systems humming.

Please think twice about using Kalka! First, they tell you one thing on the phone and then the story changes when the tech arrives! They came to drain my water heater under my warranty at ""no charge"". My wife calls me to tell me that they sent 2 technicians and they said there ""will be"" a charge! Then my wife hears one of the technicians in our bathroom, removing our stuff out of the vanity. When we asked what they were doing, the tech said that they were going to do a ""full house"" inspection to sell us a service package/plan. I called the office and questioned what was going on, and they confirmed their attempt to sell us a package or plan. I ordered them to finish the water heater and leave! Later that night I find that they DID NOT bleed the air out of the water lines and my aerators got plugged! I had to replace all of my now plugged aerators. Then a few days later my AC would not work because the thermostat was dead. I called out someone else to fix the problem and we found that Kalka removed the cover from my HVAC unit in the garage during their inspection and didn't reinstall the cover correctly and thus my HVAC system would not work! I reinstalled the covers properly and thankfully, the HVAC/thermostat unit worked again. This ""free"" Kalka work cost me new aerators and a service call by a competitor to fix the things their inexperienced technicians did not do properly!! I called to talk to a manager after this HVAC issue and no one has called back yet. I would think twice about ever using them! Nancy is very helpful when you call in, but who knows what their technician will do when they arrive and what they will charge you. I truly feel that the ""free"" water heater work was just a way to find more work. Why else would they send 2 people to do a 20 minute job for free? Buyer beware!!

They are true bate & switch, they sell you on getting you dispatched and then will charge you triple. Over the phone they offer comp service call and waive weekend visits but when they come their story and charges change.

They are not authentic and lack honesty.
