Kal installed a wine cooler in my kitchen. Sounds easy enough, but the cooler didn't quite fit properly and it was a job that was passed up by a couple other handymen. Kal tackled the job enthusiastically in no time at all. He was also very thorough cleaning up. Kal's a stand up guy and great at his craft.

I had Kal come over to do some home repairs and he did an outstanding job. He troubled shooted an electrical problem in my bathroom and found the problem in just a few short minutes. Then what really blew me away was that he completely replaced a bad door and molding that had root rot in my garage in just a few hours! I thought it would have been a 2-3 day job. He fixed a lot of things in a very short time. I like how he gave his honest opinion about some issues I had including a problem about my sliding glass door in my family room.
Kal is the real deal.
In short, I will never use anyone else to do repairs on my home in the future. I have had several handymen work around my house and none of them were as thorough, efficient and knowledgeable as Kal. He really knows what he is doing!

Kal was amazing! We had an emergency electrical problem in our kitchen and needed it fixed immediately before the food in the fridge began to spoil. Kal came over within a couple hours and gave us a very competitive price.

Horrible! Texted him this morning to confirm and he never texted back. Expected him to text or call back. Only answered after I called him back asking him when he'd be coming out after he did a walk through last week and gave me a price quote, which was more than estimates I got from two other handymen.
He gave me an excuse and asked why I didn't confirm with him last week. I told him that he said he was going to be out Monday morning, hence why we took time off from work expecting him to come by to work on our house. He said he wasn't available today because I didn't confirm with him last week. He was uninterested with assisting a potential new customer and was all about himself. He could have called or texted last week to confirm (like a lot of other services offer), but didn't so although it may have been a miscommunication on my end or his, I would not recommend this guy. He's not interested and would probably expect more out of his customers than you would expect from him. There are plenty of good, qualified handyman available in the North County area.

I called Kal based on the positive review on Yelp, and I am very pleased with his work and response. I had a loose ceiling light/fan that needs to be tightened. I had another handyman come to repair it, but I was told that the interior box was getting loose and he had to open part of the ceiling to tighten the box, reseal the ceiling before he could fix the light/fan. It would be a half-day job. I described the problem to Kal, he said he knew exactly how to fix it. He came 10 min late due to bad traffic but he texted me to keep me informed. He did a fabulous job fixing the ceiling light/fan, and also replaced electric stove top glass and other small items. His charge is very reasonable given the quality of work he did. If you're looking for a honest and capable handyman, look no further, you find him! I'll certainly reach out to Kal again in the future when I need handyman service. Highly recommended.

It was a pleasure working with Kal. We all know that it can be difficult to find a reliable and honest handyman. We needed a side door replaced in our garage. I tried contacting a few handymen, but they either never returned my call or said they do not do that kind of work. When I left a message with Kal, his voicemail informed that he wouldn't be back from vacation until July 5th, but would be sure to return the call. To much to my surprise he called on July 4th while on vacation and said he would be able to do the job required.

He came on time and did great work with a reasonable price. We have no reservations on recommending his services and look forward to working with him in the future.

Kal was awesome!
I had an emergency door replacement.
Kal responded to my call promptly and arranged to come hang a new door the very next day! He was on-time, friendly and did the job in about 2 hours at a reasonable price.
