we stepped through the water inlet to our house in Brook Highlands and caused a break. I turned the water off at the road and dug out the affected area, and called K&S Plumbing. I tried a few others but they were the only one who could come (even though it was not until 2 days later - they were the best option). Young man showed up """"I am not a plumber but it looks like we need to cut this piece, replace the tap and the regulator...."""" He didn't say yea or nay Just went to his truck and came back to say """"only work by contract and it will cost $750...and that is a deal"""" I should have went elsewhere but wanted the water on. He had the job done just as i thought and was finished in 45 minutes. I could have bought the parts on Amazon for less than $70. He was polite and did the job well, I think. Just too much money! I put some similar feedback on their website which they of course took down

HORRIBLE service!!!! Non-responsive, deceitful, shady & definitely not knowledgeable. Most of all, NO SHOW even when you have an appointment booked!! Is there a """"0"""" rating? Maybe """"negative 5""""? American Home Shield (AHS) should remove them as a vendor immediately!

Appalling customer service. They have utter contempt for their customers and make little attempt to communicate effectively. They canceled an appointment earlier this week and rescheduled for an afternoon time without consulting me--this after I specifically requested morning appointments only due to the conflict with picking up my child from school every week day afternoon. I finally got that appointment rescheduled for another morning later in the week and it is now 12:15pm and they still have not shown up (time frame for appointment was 8am to noon). I have been stood up twice. I have to call them and track them down--they did not bother to have their staff call me. This is inexcusable. Once is understandable but at this point it is rude and horrible customer service. I will never use this company again nor will I recommend K&S to friends, family and colleagues. Note: finally had a teenage """"plumber"""" show up Just before 12:20pm. The first word out of the teen plumber's mouth after hello were: """"how will you be paying today, Ma'am"""". NO APOLOGY. No explanation. They apparently expect clarity when to it comes to how and when they will be paid but they do not bother communicating clearly and with consideration with the people who provide them with the paychecks to keep the company solvent. I don't know if all their employees are boorish and lack proper training but it is worth noting that everyone I dealt with was in their late teens or early twenties, not that it is an excuse for lacking in accountability and professionalism.

I've used K&S a few times because they are who my home warranty sends out when I have plumbing issues. The tech that has come out more than once is Skylar. He is always nice. They had to come out more than once to get the garbage disposal working right, which I didn't like. Recently, they couldn't find my PVR to fix a leaky faucet situation so my husband and I had to search for it. We found it and they came back to fix it. They were trying to charge quite a bit, but they came down on the price. Everything is working fine now. The techs can be a bit loud, but they have been apologetic when they realize they're being a bit of a distraction. I really don't have much of a choice since they are sent by my home warranty, but they do decent work.

The worst company to have them service your home . I requested a service from american home shield to service my water heater and they sent K&S plumbing services in Alabaster-Alabama they replaced the expansion tank but refused to replace the rusted pipe that goes inside the water heater just because the technician Jason had his own baseless assumptions about the pipe . The pipe is rusted and it is leaking from wear and tear and it's an old pipe and it is covered by the home warranty . But Jason told American home shield that the pipe has been Tampered with which is NOT true . So both K&S plumbing and American home shield have a shady business practice and very poor customer service quality . Unprofessional and rude and unfriendly and they do NOT do the repairs correctly stay away from both companies K&S plumbing and American home shield

I was hesitant to use K&S plumbing because of the reviews on YELP. I learned that you cannot trust ratings in YELP. I sent a message to K&S and told them that they have some bad ratings on YELP. I was assured that K&S is reputable and to give them a try. I am very happy I did. The plumber came up to my house and repaired the leak. Upon repairing the leak that was the obvious one, he discovered that there is another leak downstream of the repair he did. However, there would be a need to bring a small excavator. Prior to the plumber leaving, K&S already scheduled another house call with a different crew. They came out as promised and preformed the repair. They left the job site is, clean and actually better than it looked prior to them arriving. I would recommend this company.

K&S Plumbling came out to one of my properties to fix a water leak to a pipe connected to my water heater. I was uncomfortable with the high cost so I called a trusted company to review what they called modifications to the pipe. The company informed me they placed a 40 cent fitting with no modifications and the cost was very high for the service. I called K&S to ask what modifications was done and they were unable to explain. The company sent my money back. My home insurance plan AHS sent them out to service a water heater at another property and they sent me this huge bill for all the modifications that needed to be done. This company is unethical and shady. Do not trust this company or please get a second opinion before allowing them to complete any work.

Where do I start .. I contacted American home shield and they contact this company.. Graylon came out spoke with my husband told us what was wrong.. He said he was coming back.. 3 different times.. What a joke. I understand things happen but to have this many mishaps you really should see a priest and ask him to bless you.. Then the last time he gave that he overslept.. (What is he in highschool.?) From 9 to 6 I called then he finally message me ans asked did i still want him to come... The nerve of him..

I chose this company due to the """"4.5 stars"""" on Google, but after doing some digging I realized they had awful reviews on every other site, as in this app, Yelp. I had someone come out to give me a quote on installing a water line from my sink to my new fridge, which is about 6 feet in width that would require drilling under the subfloor, but not hard whatsoever. This man quotes me $1,200 (basically what I paid for a new fridge) to install a quarter turn box into the wall, to run pex wire from that to the fridge. I don't know who in their right mind would pay that but I was livid because these things cost $35 at Home Depot, and wouldn't take 2 hours (at the most) to complete. Tired of plumbers scamming people that they believe they don't know what they're doing, so I felt the need to write a review. Don't use this company

I used K and S plumbing Through my home warranty company 2-10. They sent a plumber to my home name Chris. He could not have been more professional and was so nice. I have no complaints about the plumber himself. However the women answering the phone at K and S are completely rude. I never write reviews! Good or bad! But my experience was so bad that I felt compelled to share! I have never in my life had customer service representatives be so rude to me on the phone. When the first thing that The plumber tried did not fix my drippy faucet outside, I called K&S plumbing to see if they could just send him back out to fix it again. After all, I had already paid for it! But instead they said I had to make another claim through the home warranty. These people do not stand behind their work. She made it as difficult as she possibly could for me to get this drippy faucet fixed again and forced me to be home when the plumber came back out so I had to take more time off work. (210 said No one had to be at the home since it was an outdoor problem) When I asked to speak to an owner they would never let me speak to him or a manager. Rude and worst customer service ever! She talked down to me and even hung up the phone on me when I told her this was no way to run a business! How's that for customer service! and just look at all the similar reviews to mine! It's obviously just the way they treat their customers!
