K&S, Krappy Services. These people are the WORST! If you live in the area and thinking of hiring them, DON'T! They are completely unprofessional. Steve is a crook and is scamming people out of money. If you think I am just disgruntled by a job they didn't do to my ""standards"" then let me tell you my story. Back in January my wife and I moved into a rental house that wasn't ready. Black mold on the walls, water damage, basement flooded with sewage water, you get the picture. Well the company hired contractors to come out to do the repairs, in comes this horrible company. I work night shift and I was laying in bed asleep when I heard knocking on my door, it's K&S to ""look"" at what needed to be done. No call, no nothing. Was there about 2 hours, didn't do much. They told me they had to come back but didn't tell me when. The next day, I JUST laid down to go to bed. More knocking. Surprise! They showed up again UNANNOUNCED! They were there for about 3 hours working on plumbing. Told me they have to come back, but didn't know when. Didn't hear from them for over a week or so then they finally showed back up unannounced again after my wife harassed them when they were fixing the basement. Ripped up the flooring and the walls and put a hazardous chemical on the mold and then left it like that. They came back the next day unannounced(seeing a pattern?) to install wall panel and didn't tell my wife what they were doing and drove nails into the concrete with a .22 caliber driver WHILE I WAS SLEEPING! My wife told them multiple times I work nights and if they needed to be really loud tell us ahead of time so we can coordinate where I sleep elsewhere. Then they disappeared for awhile. My wife FINALLY got ahold of Steve, and told him that he needs to call ahead of time before they just randomly show up. His response was, and I quote, ""Well, we may have to drop the job then."" Who in the HELL does that?! That is THE most unprofessional thing ever! My wife raised hell with the rental company about this and they FORCED them to come out on a Thursday and Friday and CALL ahead of time. They called on that Thursday and showed up to do a little work, and left without saying a word. Then Friday comes they are NOWHERE to be found. They completely stopped answering calls and they are completely ignoring the rental company now. Here we are going into April and the job is STILL not completed and the rental company has had enough of their shit and fired them from the job. Steve, if you read this, you are a waste of space and hope you lose everything as I saw someone is filing a lawsuit against you because you are a criminal who takes advantage of people. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I do not suggest doing business with Steve Slunder with K & S Home Improvements. I hired him to do multiple jobs in my home that was built in 1935. I wanted a complete remodel. I hired him a year and a half ago, paid a substantial amount of money to him, gave him keys and access to the house and it has sat untouched for a year now. His crew got the demo done down to the studs and it is still like that! I have had one excuse after another as to why it has not been worked on with promises to get it completed and finally fired him. I requested some of the money I had paid him to be returned to me as the job was not done and the keys to my house to be returned both requests have been ignored. I am going to be taking him to court.
