Our hot water heater stopped working and it was only 4 years old . I called a plumber we had used inthe past and they referred me to Kelly since was a Rheem hot water heater. I called them and they came within an hour , knew the problem right away.he got it started and said if it happened again to call the 800 number for rheem fora new gas control Valve. when I receieved the part I called them and in less than a half hour he was here and fixed it. he was very knowledgeable, very professional and I will call this company again if we have any more plumbing issues. highly recommend this company. My air conditioning system would not start. Nor would the heating system.

I called K Kelly in the morning around 10am and they were there by 3 PM that afternoon.

The techs diagnosed the problem, which was rather difficult because it was a wire that was chafed through outside. They fix the problem and were great to work with.

This is my first time using K Kelly heating and cooling. I will be calling them first if I have problems in the future.

Paid $65 for initial diagnosis, which is average compared to other places I called. Already did a ton of research and some DIY diagnosis on what might be wrong, I just needed a ""professional"" to confirm and if their estimate is close to me getting the parts myself, I would've just had them do it. I hoped they had more tools to pinpoint the issue but apparently not. The tech wasn't sure or couldn't say exactly what was wrong. He had a feeling it was part ""A"" but will also order part ""B"" in case it was either one. I asked if part ""A"" didn't work, would he put the old piece back in and try ""B"", and if that didn't work then will he try both new ""A"" and ""B"" put in together. He didn't give me a straight answer so I rephrased my question more clearly but he kind of dodged the question and beat around the bush about how it could be a complicated process to pinpoint the issue. Right then I knew he was probably going to charge me for parts and labor on both ""A"" and ""B"". Essentially he was going to keep replacing parts until it works, charging me for everything. (Whether this is true or not, I don't know but as a customer that's what I felt and made me nervous about going forward with anything).

Also, I don't know if any other HVAC businesses have similar charges, but not only did the estimate include parts and labor for the repair itself, it included additional hourly charge (approx $60/hr) for the tech to drive to pick up the parts from their distributor (I believe it was 3 hours round trip).

At the end, I did not use them for repair. The cost of parts and labor wasn't an issue since I understand you pay a premium for same day service. What made me feel uncomfortable was the tech didn't give me a straight answer on how he was going to determine if the issue lies in part A or B, or both and if one or the other didn't fix the issue was I going to get charged for the part, considering one was $300 and the other was $700.

I want to recommend K. Kelly to anyone that needs repairs to heating and cooling systems. We had them come over to our house as our GEO thermal compressor quit working. They came out immediately, checked out the whole system, ordered parts needed and were back and did the repairs needs and made improvements besides.

They sat down with us and explained everything in detail, the cost of each repair and its purpose. The work was done very professionally and in a very timely and proficient manner. they were easy to talk to and very friendly.

I highly recommend them for any needs you have as yo can trust them to be fair and honest.
