K J performed work on our house before we moved in. The house was flipped so a big selling point for us was that it had all new plumbing. Shortly after moving in we began to hear leaks from multiple areas and see water spots on our ceilings. We called K J to come fix the leaks and they refused to even look at the plumbing - they told us what we were hearing was ""pipes expanding"" and not drips. They did the plumbing work on the bump-out bathroom and did not properly insulate the pipes, so the pipes freeze every winter. A different plumber told us they would need to re-route the plumbing entirely to truly address the issue. Another issue we encountered was our wax seal on one of our toilets was misaligned and broke, causing gallons of water to pour out necessitating emergency plumbing services (from a different plumber) and more huge water spots on our living room ceiling. Also, they came out to hook up our water line to our fridge and it leaked an hour later, so they had to come back and fix it. I could go on - and we have only been in our house 3 years. At this point we are considering having an actual professional plumber assess our entire house before we take on too much water damage. I cannot recommend this company to anyone and would urge anyone that is considering them to hire a different plumber.

My initial intent was to install an electric tankless hot water heater in my basement which I already purchased, to replace an approximately 13 year old 40-gal (natural gas) hot water tank, but Chuck from KJ Plumbing steered me away from it because he said the electric heater may not keep up with my family's demand for hot water, especially during the winter months due to the low temperature of the water coming into the system. I took Chuck's recommendation to not install the electric heater, and decided instead to have installed a Rinnai RUC98iN tank less gas hot water heater. Chuck came to the house and met with my wife. After seeing the location on the exterior wall where we proposed to have the heater installed, he told her it was a fairly simple installation as the gas and water lines were easily accessible and the unit could mount to an exterior wall and vent to the outside with no problem. A few days later, I received a quote to install the new Rinnai unit, including permit which KJ Plumbing would obtain, and removal/disposal of my old 40-gal hot water tank. The quote was reasonable, and hundreds of dollars less than a quote I received from another contractor for the same work. A week later, the new Rinnai unit was installed. The two plumbers from KJ plumbing were friendly, professional, and hardworking, and did a very nice job with the installation. They even re-routed the vent pipe from my furnace that used to run past the water tank to the chimney, to give me more space now that the water tank is gone. Highly recommended!

Terrible company. C/A blowing warm air that is 2 years old, the owner charges it on the first call and tells me if it happens again there is a leak and that is like finding a needle in a haystack. Call number 2, same issue only I've shut the unit down at this point, why run warm air. He Comes out. Does not come in my house but goes to the unit outside comes back in tells me to put the unit on, oh surprise it's blowing cold air.. It's working fine he says, no leak! He says! Move my furniture away from the vents..mind you I have a sectional a foot away from one vent and that is the only room he even saw. Call number 3. Won't come out because he has done his job and it is working fine. I believe I know the difference between cold and warm air. Now let me translate that into what kind of business is being ran; owner did not want to go into my crawl space to find a leak or fix the issue that may have been indoors,therefore blames my furniture and the fact ALL MY VENTS WERE COVERED WITH BIG FURNITURE,.. Again he saw one room.. = LAZY MAN THAT DIDNT WANT TO DO HIS JOB!!!
Home warranty used this company ,not by my choice and pretty sure he won't be getting many call from them anymore.. My A/C was in fact in need of repair ...
Oh and my furniture is fine where it has been for the 15 yrs I've lived here with central Air, said the man who actually fixed it!!!!!!!

I was in Florida for a month, when I got a phone call that my pipes had frozen. My oil company referred me to K&J Plumbing. I called on Wednesday night and got a return call first thing Thursday Morning. They offered to come that very day but I was still on my way home, therefore I asked them to come in on Friday. They arrived on time and went to work. Kirk and Nick knew what they were doing and worked quickly and efficiently. They put our house back to normal in record time. I will always call K&J in the future. They are the best!!!!!

We have used various plumbers in Littleton. Most were good, but way overpriced and did work that wasn't as complicated as the service person made it out to be.
KJ Plumbing answered my call on 2nd ring - seems to be a family operation, but very professional. Chuck was not in, but called back the same day - gave a price on the phone and came out at the time he predicted. The work was done cleanly, quietly and quickly. We will hire KJ again. It was a gas hook up for a new stove - $150! Others wouldn't give an estimate but reportedly would be over $400.
Good deal, good work, good people excellent experience!

I had been using another plumber for a while but found I was having them come back and fix things they had already fixed. I called KJ and when they fixed something, it was really fixed! Imagine my surprise when I got the bill and found out they charged less per hour than the previous guys with no travel charges.

I've used them a bunch of times now, including a pretty major bathroom reno. I leave the back door open, they come, they fix stuff, they lock up. Gotta love that!
