We bought a house that had some plumbing issues that we wanted to address. Kevin came over on a Saturday morning to do a walk through of what needed to be fixed. He was honest about how the plumbing was set up and didn't have us fix things that didn't need to be updated at this time. He even offered to do a few quick fixes on the spot. He came back about a week later and mover our laundry water lines and added a filtration system under the kitchen sink. He charged a reasonable rate and got the job done. I would recommend him to anyone.

This guy quoted our sewer lateral $1,800.00 less than the next bid. For good reason, he did not post a bond or pull permits with the city of La Mesa, he did not call DigAlert to find out where the buried utilities are located, he pulled up and broke our water main pipe and the SDG&E gas line with his back hoe, he pulled permits and posted a bond after he was busted by the city, he talked me into re-posting the bond after his check to the city bounced telling me he would complete the job if I did. He then retrieved his bond after the city sent his check to collections and left the job incomplete. I would not trust Kevin Berner, KB Plumbing to water my lawn with me watching. Be warned. Call the city engineer or the public works inspector in La Mesa about KB Plumbing.
