Good communication, friendly, quick service, patient with my questions and giving advice.
Could have been more careful about my plants, especially after my request to do so. Some of them were completely smashed. I asked them to look at my tub after they snaked outside. I was hoping they would use boot covers when coming in, but they didn't.

I can honestly say these guys are the best to work with. I don't understand the low score.

I had a toilet in our master bathroom that was experiencing ""issues"". Slow drain, no drain, backing up, weak flush. I'd tried plunging, chemical treatments and homebrew treatments. Nothing worked.

I called JW. Initially, we'd discussed snaking the toilet. I'll admit that I was sold on this. Instead the owner suggested replacement. And replacement with what I considered at the time to be an expensive toilet. He warned me if I bought cheap, I could do so...from Home Depot.

I was taken aback by the honesty, and after another day of toilet-related frustration, broke down and admitted defeat. JW came out, swapped toilets to a much more powerful model -- and I mean POWERFUL. No complaints.

We've moved ahead and swapped another toilet out with the same.

If there's a misconception that the company is difficult to work with, then you aren't paying attention. These guys cut through the crap and will solve your problems. Cheap? Maybe not. But quality, yes. And to me, quality beats cheap.

Called asking for help with a water heater. Guy on the phone was an asshole and didn't want to help us at all.
Thanks, called action plumbing and they took care of it. Would not recommend at all. Not even to rake my grass

Replace kitchen sink drain pipes $350
Snake out kitchen drain (1 hour of labor) $250

Not very forth coming with pricing before hand then when the work is done the shock comes with the price!!!

Larry was at my grandma's house in no time to fix a hole in a copper water pipe in the basement. He was fast and courteous. He quoted me on the phone before he got here, and it was exactly what he said it would be. I would definitely use JW Bliss plumbers again!

I really struggled with giving this company only one star. The workers were friendly, courteous, they worked efficiently, and did a great job. Having said that, let me get down to the heart of the problem. The price.
Here is a break-down.
1. 1/2 horse Zoeller M264 series sewage pump. Listed at 355.34 (https://www.plumbingsupply.com/sewage-waste-pumps.html)
2. a PVC elbow, check-valve, and boots, etc. Worst case scenario, around 50.00
3. Not quite two hours of labor.

Total price: $900.00
Original quote before work started: $700.00

Once the basement bathroom-floor was opened up, the lid was off the sewage crock, the old pump was out, and everything was a huge mess, I was told that ""the ceiling is blown right through on the original quote,"" because it was a non-standard configuration. I illustrated this point to the guy on the phone, as well as in-person, before he started the job.
It seemed like the only options were to pay him, or leave a huge, open sewage-mess in my basement. I mean, he was already half-way into the job, when he increased the quote.

All of that aside, the bottom line is this:
Parts max: $400.00
Labor: 500$ for under two hours of work.

Again, very nice people, did a great job, etc... I feel like I was overcharged, but didn't really have any other option.

So, if cost isn't a concern, I would highly recommend them. If you're on a budget, and don't want to pay $250 an hour in labor, look elsewhere.

Very impressed with the services provide by this plumbing business. The plumbers were very professional and personable. The rates that they charged were lower than the estimate I was given (huge plus!) and they tried to find the least expensive solution to what could have been a pr icy problem. They even cleaned up after they had finished the job. I would definitely recommend JW Bliss to anyone looking for a reliable, and reasonably-priced fix to a plumbing problem.
