Absolutely recommend JV Plumbing.

We had an old water heater (close to 20 years old) that was due for replacement. Our recent experience with a furnace replacement and a large commercial plumbing contractor in the area (you see their ads on TV) left us wanting to find a proper local plumber. The ""big guys"" were horribly expensive, big on the high pressure ""upsell"" (you know it's going to be bad when they send a ""sales consultant"" before the job), unreliable scheduling and slap-dash install.

So we poked around and found a number of local plumbers. I researched reviews and photos of installs, noting if they were installing quality components or the big box crap. And we took a shot with JV.

I reached out to Jose and he got back to me immediately. Understood my issue, what I wanted, and made clear recommendations. He didn't try to turn a simple water heater replacement into a heat pump install or replacing all my pipe with copper like the big guys do.

I told Jose there was no hurry, this was simply something on my ""honey-do"" list, but he was out the next day to look at the situation before he gave me a quote (another positive sign, he actually investigated the job and what was needed).

And they had an open slot in their schedule for the next day. Showed up on time, did an excellent job, and pointed out where the previous heater install had problems and corrected them.

Jose was crystal clear on what he recommended, what it would cost, and did exactly what he promised he said he would do. Can you ask for more than that?

What JV Plumbing ISN'T? Unskilled labor that takes the garbage toilet you bought at Lowe's and slaps it in with the same level of work you'd get from the neighbor who does it after the game and a few beers. It's top-notch professional plumbing work at an honest price.

We're likely going to be selling our house later this year and now I've got a high quality water heater, installed TO CODE. One big item off my honey-do list.

JV plumbing will forever be the people I go to for all of my plumbing and water needs. Jose is incredibly responsive and always on time. He is just an all around great guy, and most importantly, I trust him to not take advantage of clients. I have dealt with other plumbers who charge an arm and a leg, but don't explain why. That's not Jose. He was recommended to us by a friend, and I am so glad that I went with him for our toilet replacement and water line!

We recently moved into an older home and amongst all the chaos of moving in (and doing so in between Christmas and New Years) we found out we had no hot water. After doing all the tips and tricks on our aged Rinnai water heater, we decided to pull the plug and check for a local contractor.

Long story short: Jose and his team are THE guys to go to, period. Firstly, I appreciate that I was able to text him first and we'd discuss what happened, then he took a couple of hours (same day) to do his research, THEN call me to confirm how he plans to fix our issue, and proceeds from there. Basically because our Rinnai was from '06, a basic swap out would be the best option.

Because of the holidays, I was expecting to get our heater replaced the following week... NOPE! Jose considered our situation as an emergency and put us as his first appointment the day after New Years! That alone was such a surprise AND relief.

He and his colleague / team came in, did the reinstall with a new exhaust (they had to stop midway to go all the way back to their warehouse to pick it up and back to our house, bless them), and finished within the hour. On top of their work, they are very polite and always break down what they've done from start to finish as to keep us a part of the repairing process.

What a way to start 2023 and we couldn't be more grateful to JV Plumbing. Will be saving their contact # and tell all of our family and friends.

We needed some plumbing moved as part of a larger kitchen counter replacement project. Our regular guy was out of town and we were on a timeline, so I got in touch with Jose. I texted a couple pictures and he said he could make it happen. This was all during a time of power outages due to a recent storm, but he kept in touch with me via text about when he could come. He arrived on time, and did great work. A plus is that he had his sons with him so they could learn the business too. He did a great job, moved the necessary pipes, replaced a leaky water shutoff, and even recommended a couple of other improvements we could make in the future, but nothing that needed to be done immediately. We will certainly reach out to him again for future plumbing needs.

The toilet at my mom's old house was leaking constantly and couldn't be fixed. I contacted Jose,he scheduled a time to come by to do an estimate.He showed up on time with his son. Turned out the plumbing below the toilet was very old ,leaking and needed replacement also, and was a tricky fix. Jose was able to get the supplies he needed, did some customization, and was able to get the whole job done in a few hours. I had been expecting to get an estimate, then wait for weeks to get it done, and it was finished that day. Couldn't be happier! Jose knows his stuff, he and his son were friendly, worked hard and cleaned everything up. Highly recommend JV Plumbing!

I cannot say enough things about the plumbing work that José and his staff performed on my cabin near Index. I had been in contact with several plumbers, including one who agreed to do the job, never showed up, nor returned any messages.

José was the exact opposite: He responded to my inquiry within a half hour, showed up on time for the estimate, and produced a detailed, professional estimate, José did the work on time, within budget, and took care of some unanticipated issues as well.

José did a great job, and I will use him again if I have any other issues!

Jose is a great plumber.
He came removed and installed a new water heater for my home.
He listened to my requests to have it moved to a new location. He educated me and helped me decide between a tankless and tank water heater. He also made improvements to bring my installation up to code and thoroughly explained to me the rationale behind each adjustment every time I had a question. He also educated me on proper maintenance and operation of my new water heater so I can prolong it's life.
I appreciated Jose's patience with my new homeowner's curiosity and endless questions.
