Just Right Plumbing in Los Angeles did a big job in my garage that consisted of a leaking pipe that had burst and was pouring water all over. The pipes had rotted and they replaced the pipes with up to code piping and did a really good job in a very timely manner. They were very courteous, reliable as well as neat and tidy and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a job well done. Call and ask John the owner to send out Ryan, his plumber and I wish you good luck.

This company was grossly negligent in a repair that cost over $2475. I hired Just Right Plumbing in December 2018 to fix a leak under a rental unit. They quoted me $2475 to replace the kitchen and laundry room plumbing from galvanized to PVC. I paid in full. In October 2020 the tenants I had there moved out and complained of moisture damage to their belongings in the crawl space. When they removed everything, my husband and handyman saw that the water from the kitchen sink was draining right into the crawl space - not connected to the new PVC pipes, and not even connected to the original galvanized pipe that was there. It appears that they removed the bad plumbing and failed to repair it. When we discovered this, I called to let John know that I expected him to come out ASAP and fix this mistake. He refused to correct it. Once I made it known I thought he should do this repair at no cost, he coerced me to sign a document in order to correct the work. I was out of work, and I had an empty rental unit. I needed to rent the unit out ASAP. I contacted some other plumbers to come fix it but one person quoted $1200 and another one was too busy to do an urgent repair. Feeling like I had no choice at the time, I acquiesced to his demand to sign this waiver. I would like to note that I have done a lot of business with this company and they have never forced me to sign a waiver like that to commence work. Only when I asked them to fix a faulty job did they do this. Before and after he did the work I told him that I did not believe I should have to pay for this work. I incurred several extra costs due to moisture damage, like stucco work and fixing the sink cabinet. He then sent me to collections and I ended up paying them $600 to protect my credit score. John Pipkin charged me in full for work he did not complete, and charged me again to fix the original job. He left my unit in a very hazardous condition. He is negligent as well as unethical. I should not have to pay $600 on top of the original repair fee, $300 for a stucco repair, and $350 for my handyman to correct the moisture damage in the sink cabinet. John Pipkin owes me at least $1250.

John, Juan and their crew came to the rescue on Christmas Eve to fix and diagnose a gas leak. They came up with a solution and worked tirelessly over the holidays to get our gas turned back, and also installed a new heater. They are hard workers, responsive and Reliable. I recommend their plumbing service.

I called John with an urgent plea to snake my main line - Magnolia tree roots block the pipe. John answered and told me he'd check with his team and call me back in a short while. And he did! Juan came out an hour later and snaked the line. Awesome service, came to my rescue. Highly recommend for fast service & integrity.

very surprised at the bill. stay away from them if you are a commercial customer, they told me they have higher rates for commercial. they had men at our warehouse restroom for combined 7 1/2 hours and charged $855 in labor using our parts. They replaced 2 sloan valves and rooter 1 toilet. There were only there at night because they were not busy and decided to start later in the day.

We have used Just Right Plumbing for 3 large jobs and each time their service and expertise has been outstanding. The most recent job was replacing the gas line from our house (built in 1944) to the gas meter on the street. We had the gas turned off Wednesday evening and I called Just Right the next morning (Thursday) and the owner John came right away and diagnosed the problem (he took at least three hours checking everything under the house). The line going into the house was old and leaking. On Friday, John, Ryan and the team came and dug the trench and began the process of replacing the gas line. They were respectful (wore masks) and were very careful digging the yard and the trench. They replaced the line that runs through the yard and checked under the house for the lines as well. They finished the job in one day (it was the 4th of July weekend) and placed the caution tape and cones to safeguard. John also noted that there was some water and bubbling and that the gas meter needed to be looked at (the Gas Company has since replaced the line in the street.) The inspector came Monday--all passed no problem. They replaced all the dirt and put the lawn back in place and it has blended in no problem. John is very knowledgeable (40 years of experience) and is friendly, keeps things very clean and tidy and is respectful as is his team. I feel lucky to have found plumbers that really know their stuff!

These guys are just fantastic. I've called 3 times and always have gotten someone to my home super fast. Courteous, polite and do not up sell you. They simply fix and help. Reasonable prices.

John at Just Right Plumbing was a lifesaver. Our heat and hot water gave out and I called several plumbers before finding John. My house is complicated, with solar heat and a gas backup, radiant heat and domestic water. John was the only one I found who would tackle it.
It took several days because we had to order some parts from the other side of the country and they took some time arriving, because it was over the weekend.
John installed the new pumps and reprogrammed the system, and finally it worked. Initially John got some incomplete information from the manufacturer and had to call them back. But he finally got someone on the phone who knew something about the system.
I have heat and hot water now, and not only that, John wrote down the case number so if it happens again, he will know the whole history of my system.
John went beyond what he had to do to fix my system. Good plumbers are hard to find, and John is great!

I'll add to the 5-stars...

Of course plumbing problems don't happen during normal daylight hours, they happen right at 5pm when all the plumbers go home. I can't tell you how many ""24hr"" plumbers I called before calling Just Right, only to either have no one answer or they wanted to rob me in excessive extra fees for the after-hours situation.

Danielle responded to me ASAP, she immediately connected me to their technician Ryan, and Ryan made a concerted effort to fit me in. I even spoke to John at some point and he was on top of it too. All 3 of them were beyond pleasant to talk to and work with, and none of them gave me any ridiculous runaround or stress.

Ryan showed up, more than knowledgeable, and not only fixed my problem but gave some very sound advice and knowledge for me to relay to the property owner about the issue.

There was an upcharge for it being after hours, but it was significantly less than most people were trying to force on me (1.5x normal rate, rather than fixed fees on top of normal rate).

I couldn't go overnight with the problem I had (or my apartment would've flooded), I could barely get anyone else on the phone much less out to my apartment, and Just Right did it all easy-peasy. Would definitely contact again.
