Have been searching and asking for quotes on Yelp and Thumbtack. We found him and set up a 1.5 hr. window for him to do a free visit. He came on time, his rate was at or lower than market price based on the other quotes I received, and I was happy with his workmanship and straightforward statements - he told us directly what he thought and didn't try to act like a salesman or a smooth talker, which we preferred.
My pipe had a leak behind the wall; he cut open the wall, and fixed the leaking elbow, which he believed was likely caused by solder paste that the installer didn't wipe off completely like he was supposed to after the job had been finished, which is highly corrosive and eats away slowly at the metal until there's a leak. It seems after the leak, the water soaked the insulation and induced corrosion higher up the pipe as you see in the picture.
He provides a 1 year warranty, and gave a recommendation to create a contamination area using a plastic sheet around the hole, the window, and the fan to push the moldy air out the window and dry out the wall for a couple of weeks, as well as to spray it with mold killer and let it dry out before patching it up. He stated he doesn't do wall patching and doesn't give recommendations for a contractor since he can't control their quality or pricing and doesn't want it to reflect on himself as a quality handyman with good prices. Total cost for the job was $300. I would definitely call him again for a future job, and would recommend him to others!

Earlier today I decided I would look for a plumber to fix a leaking shower head. I looked in Next Door to get a few recommendations and then went to Yelp to request a few estimates. Vlad was the first one to respond and I recognized his name from many positive Next Door recommendations. He was nice enough to schedule a time today and by 3 pm my shower was no longer leaking. He was super friendly, did great work and was competitively priced. I would definitely use Just Plumbing Handyman again.

I had a leak in my master bathroom faucet. I called Vlad at around 6 PM and just took a chance. He immediately said that he will come inspect the leak in 30 minutes. Not in my wildest dream, I ever thought that Vlad will come to fix the issue right away.

He arrived on time, inspected it and gave me a reasonable estimate. It required a new part so he promised me to come back next morning at 8-30 AM. He arrived right on time conveyed. He fixed it, cleaned it and made my life easier and happier. He's a very smart , skilled and qualified plumber.

Vlad will be my go-to plumber now without any single iota of doubt.

Vlad is fantastic. His response time, initial assessment, and skill set is fantastic. Additionally the price was very fair. I had two issues that I had been going back and forth to the hardware store for ~3 weeks and after finally deciding this was way past my humble skill set, I dropped vlad a line and he was able to sort it out in ~1hr time. I had a dripping showerhead, so I requested a quote via yelp. Vlad was the first one to replied and told me he could come and take a look in half an hour. He showed up with a mask, quickly diagnosed the problem, and gave me an affordable and competitive price. Within 2 hours, the dripping was gone, and everything is fixed! I will go with just plumbing for future plumbing issues. 10/10 will recommend.

My wife and I called around to find a plumber who could install two new Toto toilets. After speaking to several plumbers, we made an appointment to have a plumber come over to give us an estimate. After looking at our brand new Toto toilets, the first plumber turned down the job because he had never installed a bidet before and wasn't comfortable in taking the job. Luckily my wife stumbled upon Vlad. After getting off the phone, he said that he could swing by and take a look. Vlad gave us a reasonable price and explained that he had installed a dozen of these toilets and was completely comfortable and confident in taking the job. Overall, my wife and I were very pleased with Vlad's attention to detail and how he left everything neat and spotless afterwards.
