These folks are amazing - they actually answer their phone, and Kirsten was really knowledgeable in helping troubleshoot our septic problem. This company is run by honest professionals, they will not recommend anything that you don't need and take real pride in their workmanship. Highly recommend.

We are up for the week and had a sudden plumbing back up issue in both of the bathrooms of our weekend home in Bodega Bay. Found Just In Time through an online search and called because of positive reviews. The lady who answered the phone was extremely polite and knowing that the guys happened to be in the town of Bodega, quickly put me on hold to contact them to not leave the area. Justin and his partner were at our house within 30 mins. They were thorough and dug up the dirt to check the septic tank and diagnose the problem. They fixed the back up in less than three hours, enabling us to enjoy the rest of our vacation. Septic/plumbing problems are the last thing anyone wants to deal with. Thankfully, Justin came ""just in time"" to save the day for us. Will definitely recommend and use them for future plumbing needs. P.S. I'd give a sixth star for the clever business name if I could ;)

I have used Just in Time on a couple of different occasions, and both times was so glad I did. The first time, the heat in my house stopped working right before I was hosting people for Christmas several years back and Justin came out on Christmas Eve to get it working again. Justin's recommendation at the time was that our heating system was on its last legs and we should replace it at some point, but he knew how to get it up and running again. He met our needs short-term at a reasonable price, and eventually met our long-term needs when it came time to replace the system altogether. He did a great job with both and Kristen was a pleasure to work with too. Whenever a heating issue comes up I will be calling Just in Time Home Services.

No show. Kirsten made two appts to fix my furnace both times I was stood up. First time she said I had the wrong date. Next appt also a no show. I'm a 70 year old woman with no heat. I guess you just had no time so they stood me up to freeze rather then show up.

Justin was flexible in his appointment time and was on time for the appt. He was knowledgeable and thorough. Rather than immediately try to sell us a new water heater, he did some troubleshooting (including contacting tech support for the manufacturer of the water heater's advice) and saved us the cost of a new water heater. Bottom line: after his fee, we still saved $4,000.

Our water heater wasn't working -- even after following the instructions for re-lighting the pilot light, I couldn't get it to re-light. We called Just in Time the next morning and they responded quickly -- they called back within 20 minutes, and were at our house within 4 hours. Justin replaced the thermocouple. Thanks to their fast response we were without hot water for less than 24 hours.

Update: now it is my turn to apologize. I have been busy the last week, but I did receive an apology in the mail from Just in Time Plumbing and Heating Services. I want to be clear that by no encouragement from the company I'm updating this review. I am all about customer service and Kirsten sent a card with an explanation of what had happened, and I appreciated that. I will still consider you guys the next time I have an issue with my system. Again, thank you for the explanation and hope things are getting back to normal.

Justin and Kirsten are fabulous. We have had Just In Time out for . . .just about everything. An emergency visit to fix a heater a few years ago just as our family was arriving to stay for the holidays, fixing the seals on two toilets that starting leaking when we were out of town, cleaning out a 'sticky' faucet that had been filled with sediment and most recently an EPIC septic system upgrade. Not just a normal repair - tearing up everything, new lines, new distribution boxes, pumping - taking a vintage, non-operable system into the modern age. Justin is thorough in his bids, takes notes and pictures along the way and great at explaining what needs to be done and giving clear estimates on both time and cost. We work away from the home and I have full trust in letting Justin and his team go in to make repairs while we're away which makes it so much easier for everyone. Kirsten is a delight - she always answers calls with a positive attitude and helpful in prioritizing jobs that are a bit more of an emergency than others. She is so easy to work with on sending payments and just generally keeping things on schedule. Truly A++!!

Shortly after having Justin and his team out to pump our septic tank we realized we had more of an issue than just a full tank. We recently moved into a new home and figured it just hadn't been done in a while. Turns out we had a crushed transfer pipe. Justin came out and dig everything up and repaired the issue all within a few hours. His team was super friendly and took really good care of our issues and questions. After hearing horror stories from friends that have had similar issues and went with other companies I can't recommend Just-In Time enough! Do yourself a favor and use Justin and his team. You won't be sorry you did.
