Just Drains

10 years ago Just Drains cleared my 8"" sewer line using a 6"" cutter. So their work having lasted a decade, I called them again. I told the office, then the technician, that I had a 8"" line and 40' run and needed a 6"" cutter.

This time the technician used a 2"" auger and apparently just bored a two inch hole in an 8"" clog. The drain ran for 5 weeks before the small hole closed up again.

I called and explained how I thought the technician messed up the job. They said ""30 days warranty, why didn't you call and complain after the technician left?""""

The phone person and manager were both quite rude saying that I was wrong about why the cleaning lasted 35 DAYS instead of 10 years and refused to make good.

When they ask if I wanted them to pay for them to come out again, I ask why I should pay for them to fix their technician's screw-up instead of calling their competitor for a proper job. They hung up.

Called this company to come out and check our drain. They did, then said they would write up a quote for a necessary repair. Three weeks later have never heard back. No we haven't been waiting, we moved on the someone else when we called the following week after the worker was here and found out he was on vacation and nothing could be done until the person's return. It's obvious they don't care about customers, since no follow up call was made to talk to us. Horrible company and service!

If you want someone to make you feel incompetent call just drains. Called to get an estimate on something that it would cost to get a clean out but I don't know where the spot is for my clean out. She told me I would have to know where it was to get a clean out. I told her I'm not a plumber and I don't know these things. She then yelled at me that neither are they and hung up on me oh. Great customer service from them

Last Month I called just drains because of a stoppage in the kitchen sink The man who came, knocked out the drywall under the sink and then told me that he had to go into the basement. He told me he had to get another guy to come and do the work because he could not work on the cast iron pipe in my basement and that it would cost me $200 extraA He couldn't do the work because he didn't have the tools. .Well I got the money toether. he came the next day and stayed in the basement for about 15 ro 20 minutes then he called me to comedown and said that I should be good to go. He had this big wrench in his hand and I realized that he didn't do a thing.! I gave him the money because I honestly thought he would hit me with that wrench if I didn't. I told my neighbors after the guy left because I was so scared. I will never call Just Drains again.

Stay away!

I called because my shower wasn't draining. They ran the main line and snaked the shower, which didn't help at all. The guy got poop and/or mud on my carpet. He left, knowing the drain didn't clear. Several weeks later (admittedly should've called sooner) I called back and talked to the owner. He was rude as hell, and basically said that that I was lying to him about how the guy who came did not fix the problem. He kept saying ""Anyone reasonable would've called sooner"". First he blamed it on my old pipes, then I told them it was a fresh remodel and he blamed it on my new pipes. Nearly $300 down the still-clogged drain.

Edit: Hope Plumbing came and snaked/plunged the drain and put some drain cleaner in and it works great. Just drains should've been able to finish the job.

Had two of their plumbers come out in one day. They both looked at our drains that needed cleaning and told us that they didn't have the tools to do the job the first time. When another plumber came out he refused to bring the required machinery inside because he had ""safety concerns"" about our stairs, yet when I told him they were perfectly safe to transport heavy equipment on his story changed to the fact that he didn't have the necessary tools either. We were told we'd be charged a service fee when NO WORK was done to our drains whatsoever. Will be looking elsewhere for a reliable and customer friendly plumbing company.

My floor drain was plugged up I call just Drains because I like their commercial. The tech was rude and yelled and cussed at the drain. Needless to say he couldn't clear the drain he said it was a collapsed Line and recommend a company that could replace it. Looking back this must have been a friend cause he wanted a $1000. Anyway I called Mr plumber and the camera tech said his line would not work and suggested I use a blow bag which hooks to your hose expands in drain shoots a power jet stream into the clog!/it worked cleared my line. I called and talked to just Drains supervisor came out and said no refund even though the tech could or would not fix it as well as the missed diagnosis. $147.00 down the drain because of crooks please help by forwarding this review to everyone u know

A really rude employee named Carl came to my house. I had sewage up to my basement steps when he left. He drug his sewage covered equipment across my brand new carpet after he was given a tarp to lay down to avoid the disgusting mess. He scoffed, and said ""I'll buy this carpet."" Owner Leon finally called me a week later, berated me for calling his ""good guy"" employee out, asked me if I was perfect cause everyone has bad days, asked me if I wanted him fired so he has to tell his kids they can't eat because he got canned for me complaining. Also, my carpet was not taken care of. When Carl was walking out, he took a personal phone call and said he just finished ""the job from h***."" Leon didn't apologize for Carl's conduct. Least his supervisor Jake did. Stay away from this joke of a business.

This company has the worst attitude and customer service skills I have ever had the misfortune of running across. Paid for a service I didn't get and got a refusal to return my call or return any of the money I paid them for not doing their job. All while being told I was the one with the ""attitude"". They could not clear a simple clog in a drain pipe and told me the sewer line had collapsed. Called another company and they got the clog out easily. Sewer line was fine. BEWARE of this business.

Leon is the owner.
I use to use them. However, outside of other issues, they felt the need to overcharge me by 71 dollars. When I brought it up to the owner and the lady that answered the phone. They had no response or somehow blamed it on me. Customer service is non existent at this dump.
After several phone calls, and 3 emails.
That have chosen to steal my 71 dollars.

As an owner of multiple rental properties in the city, that would of used them for all of my drain cleaning. I will no longer use them.
The owner has traded stealing 71 dollars of my money, VS providing a good service and good customer service, where they would of gotten a few thousand dollars in the next 6 months to a year.
At the very least that type of decision making, shows the company is unstable and guided by incompetence. Stay away
