Boy these guys get better and better! I needed a plumber and went to Google and they came up and I forgot I had contacted them before and had left this prior review. He said I am on the do not service list because I left them a poor review. How's that for CustomerService? I was always told that you weren't judged by your mistakes, you're judged by how you recover from your mistakes. Just better doesn't give a damn, and they'd rather not do business and try to win someone back.

I have used this company more times than I can count. They're always the perfect choice when needing any fixes to stubborn home fixes. They have done my sinks, toilets, HVAC system, water system, and helped with plenty of electrical work. They also have recommended so many products for my home that have made my life so much easier. I can't thank this company anymore. Y'all rock.

I have a whole house water filter and the filter needed to be replaced. I have been replacing the filter and O ring myself for years. I tried to loosen the filter canister but did not have enough strength to loosen it. I have been undergoing cancer treatment and I guess the last time I replaced the filter I tightened it too well! So I called Just Better plumbing and was told there would be a $49.50 dispatch fee. That sounded very reasonable. I had everything needed and it would take no longer than ten minutes. I scheduled the appointment. The technician arrived and I was informed that in addition to the $49.50 dispatch fee there would be a $186.00 hourly fee The technician was very nice and polite. He was strong enough to loosen the canister and did replace the filter and O ring. Then he said since I had paid for an hour he could do an inspection of the plumbing in the house. As I mentioned I am currently dealing with cancer and all I wanted was my filter changed and for him to leave. That was a very expense ten minutes! Needless to say I wish I had been informed of the actual charges up front!

They were on time for the estimate.

It took a L-O-N-G time to get a price. The price was more than double the next closest price.

They charged me a $50 estimate fee that was NOT disclosed ahead of time. Had I known, I would not have scheduled the estimate as I got 3 others without that fee.

On the undisclosed estimate fee alone, I declined to hire them. It makes me feel like they would slide other fees in that were not discussed ahead of time.

My husband and I have had wonderful experiences with Just Better Home Services over the last year....Installing a new heat pump, reconfiguring duct work , some electrical work and several plumbing jobs....Quality work, up front pricing, great communication with responding to phone calls in a timely manner as well as calling to give us an ETA....Their receptionist also gave excellent and friendly customer service.........Caleb (the owner) is extremely knowledgeable and has great expertise in everything he does! When he works for us, we know it will be done right!....This company truly is top notch on all fronts!

I just can't say enough good things about this company. When my range was delivered, Scottie and Delano came back to my house to install the new range. They were so helpful and eager to get it all set up to be perfect. I would highly recommend them.

We were looking to get the water junction in our laundry room replaced and this being the first time we have used a plumber since we moved here, I searched Yelp and asked for several quotes. JBH was the only one to come back with an actual quote and not the standard, ""we charge a flat rate and our guy will let you know the cost when he arrives"". Couple of good ole southern boys showed up and did a great job with the swap and did a pretty fair job piecing the drywall back up, even though that was not part of the deal. To top it off, they offered to help me stack our new washer and dryer on the pedestals, which is no easy task. This is my go-to place from here on out

Thanks for your response, but a dispatch fee is something that some other services do not charge, especially if they give an estimate that one cannot afford.
