We started in mid-2012 with just one service truck, a vision, and a passion for plumbing. We continue to be a family-run operation with a handful of service vehicles and a small team, yet we are still family owned and operated. Junior gained experience at big plumbing firms and grew weary of spending his days convincing customers of the necessity of paying exorbitant prices for quality plumbing services. The industry shifted towards sales and less about craftsmanship, so we recognized a real need to restore a family feel to enhance customer experiences in plumbing. Our team treats every customer as though they are stepping into a relative's house, and we hope for our clients to feel like a part of our family too. Junior spent his childhood in the Northern Virginia area before he met his wife, Sabrina, then relocated to Spotsylvania where he makes his home. Junior is a 3rd generation plumber and prior to founding Junior's Plumbing Services independently, he was instrumental in launching and overseeing a new branch at a large multi-million dollar plumbing business out of Virginia. Sabrina and Junior have a family of sports lovers with their two girls, Kyleigh (16) and Kenzie (12), who are both involved in travel softball. Their youngest child, Tripp is 8 and plays in the local baseball league and can't wait until he's eligible for the travel leagues too! They are all die-hard fans of the Redskins, Capitals, Nationals, and Virginia Tech and they cherish watching and going to games together whenever possible.

I used Junior's Plumbing when I lived in Woodbridge years ago, and when I had issues with my new house in Spotsy Joe was the first Plumber that came to mind. I had remembered what great service I received and how professional Joe was at my Woodbridge home. So when I had a upstairs shower leaking into the room below, I called Junior's. Joe came out the next morning and quickly identified the problem, the drain had separated from the shower pan. Joe repaired the drain and my wife who was there told me (I was at work getting the scope of things second hand) that Joe was very polite, professional and did a great job fixing our plumbing issue at a very reasonable price.
There is some history between Joe and I, I went through high school and was friends with his father, so I wont pretty up anything and I'll be honest about the following. When my wife and I discovered that we still had a leak from the shower, of course we called Juniors. I did mention above that Joe did a great job on the drain, and he did, it wasn't leaking from the drain and the leak was smaller. They sent a tech. out the next day, and once again I receiving info second hand due to being at work. My wife calls me crying that the tech. is tearing the house apart. I'm thinking it cant be that bad, I know that you have to take drywall down to find leaks. I calmed her down and asked her to walk away and let the tech do his job. After opening up my ceiling, cutting a hole in the bathroom wall, and busting out 4 tile on the soaking tub, the tech found the leak in the pan of the shower. Being that I'm the type of person that acts before I thinks, I was pissed, especially about the tile. It ended up that there was some tension between Joe and I and I actually accused Joe of cracking the pan. Joe came over to house and he spoke to me calmly. We looked at the pan and right then I thought to myself that maybe I was wrong. Joe gave me the number of a man that does these types of repairs, Henry. When Henry came out to look at the pan he recognized the brand of shower unit and told he was surprised it hadn't leaked on me sooner. That Saturday Henry started work on pan and discovered it had been leaking for some time, before Joe fixed the drain. I made a mistake, but Joe handled the entire affair professionally, even though I could tell he was upset about being accused. The bottom is that even through all this, Juniors is my go to plumber. Don't waste your time and money using another plumber, use Junior's.
Side note: I hope I never meet the tech that damaged my tile, that's the reason for 4 stars. :)
I was referred to them through AHS. I did not hear from them after 24 hours so I checked in with AHS to see if I was on their radar. They called Junior's and said I was scheduled for tomorrow 4-6pm. Junior's called me the next day with questions. Then the woman said they'll see me tomorrow. I stated that AHS said the appointment was today. She said that AHS said the appointment is tomorrow. I told her that the call was yesterday so today is tomorrow. She apologized for the confusion and said she told the AHS rep Friday, not Thursday.
It's Friday, they were a no-call/no-show.
Wilhelm B.We had Junior's out to make an emergency replacement of a water heater that had been improperly installed by our builder only two years ago. They responded quickly and they were on-time for our agreed appointment date. They obtained the new heater the same day; transported it to our house and installed it all in the same day. The installation was much more professional than the original. I think the technician rushed a little bit by the end of the day and there were some minor issues I addressed to the office. They were gracious and apologetic to the point that they came back to deliver a personal apology. I would have easily rated them 5 stars if it weren't for the minor issues. Definitely recommend these folks. Truthful, reliable, and honest professionals!
We made an appointment with Junior's through our warranty, HSA, to address two issues. First, the handle in our bathtub was extremely difficult to pull out. Second, there was a sulfur smell in the cold water coming from the faucets in the bathroom sink. We made an appointment for May 10 from 4:00 to 6:00. 4:00 rolled around and we received a call that the technician would not be able to come out. The lady we spoke to, Candice I believe, was very apologetic, and we rescheduled for the next day at the same time. Fast forward to 6:00 the next day, and no one has showed up or called. I call and am told that they have no idea where the technician, Marty, is. He finally shows up at our house at 7:30. He takes a look at the handle and starts yanking it in and out of the wall so hard that the wall itself moves and a gap appears between the tub spout and the wall. He then asks us what the problem is.... After taking the handle off, it is clear that the cartridge is corroded, but Marty had not brought the tools he needed to actually fix the issue. As far as the sulfur smell, he said that he had no idea what it was and left without even attempting to figure it out. He was supposed to get back to us about whether the warranty would cover the cartridge replacement and a diagnosis for the sulfur smell, but, surprise surprise, we never heard a peep. Total waste of time and money.
My experience is not with the service. But it is with its customer service. I called more than 10 times since their technician didn't show up until so late and I had to leave. I also left a couple of messages but she never returned my calls. She called me next day asking for payment saying they were a professional business and needed to collect the service charge before the work was done. But her work attitude was not too professional. I don't know if she's a owner or if she's just a receptionist. But what kind of professional business doesn't answer the phone during normal business hours and don't even return the calls.
I had a very nice and very thorough young man come fix our leaking toilets who's name is Kevin P. Replaced 3 flappers to include removing a tank to replace a part(s). All in record time. Was not only prompt in arriving but was also very personable, honest and intelligent to talk to. Just extremely happy with the service and hope he is assigned to come in the future. Thank you Kevin for taking care of the issues. Everyone I spoke to made it an easy process and felt safe having Kevin in our home. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!
We had Junior's come out to repair a few things in our home and they were quick, professional and did an excellent job! If we have any other plumbing issues in the future, we will be sure to call them again!
