We purchased a new kitchen from Lowe's to include demo, install, new cabinets and counters. We're assigned Julz. Initially it went okay. However, after installation, we noticed damage on the cabinets. We were told that would be attended too later. Then Julz same out to spackle the walls. After that, spackle was left on the floors and our new cabinets. We also noticed additional cabinet chipping. I have called Julz multiple times to address this. Many time, no one is available to answer the phone and I cannot leave a message. However, twice I was able to leave voicemails with my concerns and I still have received no response. The lack of response and lack of professionalism is shocking.

I would highly suggest to NOT use this company as they are not professional and lack the skills needed to complete the job in a timely manner. Not only did they have to come back several times after not doing the job correctly we are still finding issues with our cabinets. The customer service was terrible and they installers made us feel uncomfortable in our own home. We had to get several people to come out to our home and the job was never done right. Even after getting the President of the company involved there was still issues and nothing left resolved. Please do not use them as I would not wish this experience on anyone.

The first time that the ""installer"" came over the cabinets were left unlevel. The second time they came out only half of the cabinetry was leveled. There was over a 2 inch difference from one side to the other. The third time they came out to fix the leveling difference they ended up moving the cabinets so badly the island was at a crooked angle and tried to pass this off as quality work.

This then led to delays with other contractors costing us money and hardships ordering supplies. It took over a six month period to even get handles on our doors so that we could open and utilize the cabinetry. The entire process was a headache and was suppose to take two days ended up being over a 6 month battle with these unprofessional con artists. Do yourself a favor and use another company. Contractors get a bad name because of companies like Julz Corp. Do not let them scam you as well.

BEWARE! DO NOT HIRE Julz! I went through Lowe's for kitchen cabinet installation and Julz is the sole contractor with Lowe's in southern CA. Half way through the installation, Julz no showed and stopped responding to my communications. They literally abandoned my project. Some cabinets were also incorrectly installed. I caught them trying to do a short cut on a panel and was able to stop them. Now I have to postpone my flooring and counter top installation and don't know what's going to happen to my project. I will have to file a complaint with Lowe's. Extremely unprofessional.

Worst customer experience we've ever had for a $35K kitchen remodel that dates back to May 2022. Incorrect drawings/measurements from Lowe's, installer working from wrong drawings/measurement. TWICE, wrong cabinets delivered/missing cabinets that should have been identified at shipment or installer's inspection first time around. Both companies (Lowe's and Julz) blaming each other and unwilling to solve problem. Installer takes off and doesn't let us know, garage door open and garage a mess. Shameful customer service that won't rectify the problem quickly. Kitchen still not fixed/done.

Julz Corp, as the only installer Lowe's offers, created a 7-week delay on my cabinet install. Install was quoted for 6/21-6/24 (4 days). Here's how JULZ caused the delay, including causing damage to 5 out of 26 of my cabinets (total cabinet costs over $3k for those 5).
1. The installer asked my plumber to come back to move the gas line for the oven cabinet installation. This was unnecessary.
2. The installer cut the farmhouse sink cabinet so poorly, that we had to order more trim so he could hide the bad cut (4-week delay)
3. The installer was 2.5 hours late to the site when he specifically asked my plumber to come to finish the island sink lines before he secures the island cabinets (unnecessary, again), but we needed the installer here to remove the cabinets for my plumber to do this work.
4. The installer didn't show up on 6/24 at all.
5. Installed the wrong cabinet pull on a pantry door, had to order a new door, which was incorrectly communicated to Lowes, wrong door ordered, 2-week delay.
6. Installed multiple cabinet pulls crooked.

All in all, the install went from 6/21 to 8/11 until JULZ was finally done with their install. JULZ tries to pass blame onto the customer for these delays and doesn't take any responsibility/accountability for the inexperience/lack of workmanship for the install. Because the installer couldn't get the lower cabinets installed in a timely manner, my quartz installer couldn't template to begin fabrication until early JULY (2-week delay).

In addition to taking 7 weeks to install cabinets quoted for only 4 days, the installer damaged the cabinets in the following ways:
1. Sink cabinet cut
2. 24"" Pantry cabinet - damage to the edge of the cabinet too deep for the markup pen to cover (actual wood damage)
3. 24"" Pantry cabinet - the installer cut a hole in the back of the cabinet for access to the junction box (electrical) on the wrong side of the cabinet. Had to get skin to cover it up. More damage that goes to show the inexperience/lack of care the installer uses on BRAND NEW cabinetry.
4. 42"" base cabinet - same as #3 above, cut a hole in completely wrong location for access to a junction box, had to get skin to cover the damage. Also damaged the pull-out rail for this cabinet with that cut.
5. 21"" Pantry cabinet - damage to the edge of the pantry cabinet too deep for the markup pen to cover, had to use trim (ordered more) to cover his damage.
6. Damage to my soffit edging.
7. Bad cut on oven cabinet that ALSO had to be hidden with more trim pieces.

I had requested an inspection from the GC at JULZ, and got Isaac (the manager, not the licensed GC). When I pointed out all the damage to my BRAND NEW CABINETRY, his excuse was ""well [installer] will cover it up when he's finished"". Why should a customer have to have damage just covered up on BRAND NEW CABINETS? I now have NO access to the two junction boxes covered with the skin pieces unless I remove the entire skin pieces. In addition, their estimate (that I PAID through LOWE'S) included installation of ""Temporary Sink and Countertop"". When I questioned JULZ about when the temporary countertop, also known as plywood tops, would be installed, they said they ""NEVER"" install the temporary countertops! THEN WHY DID I PAY YOU TO INSTALL THEM? This ultimately cost me another $1,000 paying someone else to install them. YET, JULZ refuses to reimburse me the extra costs. So, I ultimately paid JULZ and a secondary person, for the same service. Don't charge me for a service, then NOT PROVIDE IT!

The installer and JULZ Corp pass blame and use excuses to cover up their poor workmanship. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Pay an actual cabinet installer who cares about his workmanship, cause JULZ sure doesn't.

And this doesn't even touch on the scheduling nightmare they are and lack of communication.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This contractor does cabinet installation for Lowes. Lowes requires that you pay for installation upfront, so you can't withhold funds to make sure the job is done correctly. Julz then subcontracts the work to an installer. There is no communication between all of these players, and the work was done poorly and took many months and requests to fix. I recommend not dealing with Julz or Lowes for cabinets.

We hired Julz through Lowe's. Even though I am very happy with the cabinet installation (their cabinet installation guy can do incredible things!), I don't recommend hiring them because of all the other issues we had with them. First of all, they rarely answer the phone, so it is impossible to know what is happening and when. When they do answer the phone, they just take a message and say they will call back. They rarely do. I have posted a photo of the unfinished window they left in my kitchen. Does that look professional to you? I have been asking them to finish the window so that I can install countertops. No response from Julz ..

They also cancelled one of the vents from the central heating system. An active duct has been left by Julz inside the kitchen ceiling. I have been calling them for over a month asking to install a vent. They did promise to do it (initially), but they stopped responding to my calls as soon as they got the majority of the payment.

This has been a very stressful experience. I have to keep calling and emailing them only to be ignored. I would have at least expected better and more direct communication.

I am posting this review because I have no other choice. Hopefully they will see and maybe come back and finish the job.
