Just really disappointed- labor time is padded and the bill contains a charge of $86 for a part that Lowe's has readily available for $48. Business need to make a profit, but come on - this is just usurious.

Called to get a water heater replaced. I was not really interested in estimates (though they did give some), I just wanted the job done and was willing to book the job then and there. Well, seems Judson's requires a photo of the water heater sent to them before they will commit to the job even though I gave the details concerning the water heater in question. Trouble is their office staff have no idea how to deal with graphics sent to them or they didn't want the business. Twice I sent the picture in the email address given to me. Nope, they claim they didn't get the email and nothing was returned to me saying there was a problem sending the message. Okay, let's try sending it in text. Same issue, they say they didn't get it. I am a retired computer science professor, I know how to send a text and email. My guess is that Judson's didn't want the job (really easy install in the garage with no obstructions) so they played the didn't get the file game and really insisted they have a picture. I do wonder about those without smart phones or the experience of sending graphics being left out. Anyhow, I call Cherry City Plumbing and they said, ""picture? don't need no stinking picture"". Okay, so I played that up a bit but they really were surprise a picture was needed before booking a job. Cherry City Plumbers didn't need any picture and booked me with Anthony, a very accomplished technician who did the job of replacing our water heater the same day for $400 less than the lowest price quoted by Judson's. My advise, call Cherry City Plumbers first and save yourself a lot of frustration and money to boot, and you won't need any stinking pictures.

Called to get help with a water heater installation. Got a very bad vibe from the person trying to help me. I was looking for labor to install a unit I provided and while saying they could provide labor at $98 an hour, it was very clear they did not want to provide the labor only.

When our water heater suddenly quit working recently, Judson's was the only one of the many plumbing companies we called that treated it like an emergency and worked us into their schedule. They first tried to repair it but parts were a problem, and when we decided on a Friday to replace it with a better unit (with absolutely no hard selling on their part), they had the new one installed by midmorning on Monday. Neither the tradesmen themselves nor the office staff could have been nicer or more accommodating. We'll never call anyone else.

Very over priced. I've used them before and probably did not pay attention as much as I should have. The item they bid on was ok, although the inspector had to correct a couple of things and the panel was mislabeled. Two bathroom fans and cleaning up some outdoor wiring was a bit exorbitant especially considering the fans were priced at nearly double of what retail is. The nice lady at Judson's explained they have to keep them in stock, etc, but I had to mention they buy them from a supplier at a discount.

Over priced. Shop around, just about everyone is less. Not dependable to show up and get the job done either. Terrible

Not only prompt service, but highly knowledgeable work provided by Zack Arnold. He was very thorough and double checked to make sure that all was working well. He was amazing! Thank you, Zack, and thank you Judson's!

We had a leaking water valve when we were to have a new dishwasher installed. I called and within 2 hours, Gordon arrived to fix the problem. He was efficient and professional. He also installed a new kitchen faucet. I would highly recommend and will always call them for any future issues.

We had an extremely tight timetable for a repair and they were able to respond right away. Upon inspection, the crack in our drain pipe was more extensive than previously thought and took nearly all day to fix. They bill after the fact so I honestly thought we were going to get an inflated invoice. When it came we were pleasantly surprised that we were billed for exactly for the time and service that we were told it would be. Highly recommend. Will use again.
