Called to get help with a water heater installation. Got a very bad vibe from the person trying to help me. I was looking for labor to install a unit I provided and while saying they could provide labor at $98 an hour, it was very clear they did not want to provide the labor only.

When our water heater suddenly quit working recently, Judson's was the only one of the many plumbing companies we called that treated it like an emergency and worked us into their schedule. They first tried to repair it but parts were a problem, and when we decided on a Friday to replace it with a better unit (with absolutely no hard selling on their part), they had the new one installed by midmorning on Monday. Neither the tradesmen themselves nor the office staff could have been nicer or more accommodating. We'll never call anyone else.

Very over priced. I've used them before and probably did not pay attention as much as I should have. The item they bid on was ok, although the inspector had to correct a couple of things and the panel was mislabeled. Two bathroom fans and cleaning up some outdoor wiring was a bit exorbitant especially considering the fans were priced at nearly double of what retail is. The nice lady at Judson's explained they have to keep them in stock, etc, but I had to mention they buy them from a supplier at a discount.

We had a leaking water valve when we were to have a new dishwasher installed. I called and within 2 hours, Gordon arrived to fix the problem. He was efficient and professional. He also installed a new kitchen faucet. I would highly recommend and will always call them for any future issues.

We had an extremely tight timetable for a repair and they were able to respond right away. Upon inspection, the crack in our drain pipe was more extensive than previously thought and took nearly all day to fix. They bill after the fact so I honestly thought we were going to get an inflated invoice. When it came we were pleasantly surprised that we were billed for exactly for the time and service that we were told it would be. Highly recommend. Will use again.

Robin, John, Juan and the office staff Corinna and Carol were extremely professional, prompt, courteous and clear in communicating. I really liked that Robin and John took great care to inspect our home, listen to our specific needs and explain the pros and cons of three different systems that matched our criteria. We needed to replace our Heating and Air system - (not urgently, but within the year.) We called four different places and had two different companies come out physically. The first company was very casual and we had them do the standard annual maintenance on the existing system. The maintenance cost $25 more than what Judson's would have charged. During the maintenance, we inquired about replacing the system and we were given a quote ""off the cuff."" The quote was about $1,500 more than the system that we ended up choosing with Judson's. We were not concerned about the price but we wanted to be sure that we did our ""homework"" before agreeing to replace our system. I checked Consumer Affairs and found that the rating on the furnace that was recommended by the first company was ""low"" while the American Standard that Judson's suggested had a ""high"" rating for performance and for energy efficiency. Robin was great in explaining our options and he even helped us with an energy efficient rebate. I really liked that Judson's was honest, did not try to ""up sell"" gave us several options and completed the project from start to finish in a very timely and professional manner. We are very impressed. Our new system is more efficient and extremely quiet. We will call Judson's in the future if we need any of the services that they offer. Great to learn that they also offer electrical and plumbing!

We had water leaking through the ceiling below our kitchen so we called Judson's based on what we've heard about them from others. We called at 8am and they said they'd try to get out same day, but could definitely come the next day. Luckily for us, Doc from Judsons made it out that same afternoon.

Turns out that Doc was the best plumber we could ever hope for. He was prompt and courteous and got right to work, diagnosing the issue and proposing a solution. He didn't waste a second while he was here and also patiently explained the details of the problem so we could make an educated decision.

We had a leak in the kitchen sink drain pipe on a horizontal section of piping in the ceiling below. All the work from beginning to end took less than three hours, which is no small feat considering he had to locate the pipe int he closed-off ceiling, which relied entirely on educated guesses.

He also asked if we had any other things we wanted him to look at while he was there and he fixed two minor things in 5 minutes, which was invaluable.

I'd recommend him (and Judson's) 100% and won't hesitate to call him whenever our next issue arrises.
