I'd definitely recommend Jim for any electrical work. We've been remodeling our kitchen and needed an electrician to reconnect/reconfigure several outlets and secure them into the wall before tiling the backsplash. He knew exactly how to get it done right so that the setup would be safe and functional. He also answered any questions and was super friendly and efficient. Five stars!

Jim is the best. We had a dishwasher that needed installing into our kitchen that was designed before dishwashers were invented. Jim came out, took a look, and gave us a reasonable quote and didn't try to upsell us on a bunch of things we didn't need. A few days later Jim was back with his helper. They perfectly cut down our cabinets to fit and expertly installed our dishwasher. During the process he discovered our super grody, rusty sink ring thingy(my technical term) and gave us an awesome deal on replacing that too. If you are on the hunt for an awesome handyman with great service and super reasonable rates, stop looking and call Jim right now.

My wife and I recently moved into a new townhouse and had a bunch of jobs around the house that needed to be done and I just did not have the time (or the skills) to do them myself. These include installing and mounting a bunch of curtain rods, mounting a flat screen TV on the wall, and mounting a heavy shelf on the wall in the garage. We also needed some work done on our previous place, which included the removal of a DirecTV dish from the roof (can you believe DirecTV refuses to uninstall their equipment???) and patching up all the holes in the walls from the cables. We found Jim on Yelp to help us out and we're sure glad we did. He arrived on time, is easy to communicate with, he's friendly and works fast, and does a great job. I will definitely enlist Jim's help again for any type of odd job or repair around the house we need done. He's a great guy to deal with. Thanks again, Jim, for all the help! Your assistance made our move into the new place much easier than it might have been.

Had a quick dishwasher exchange/installation that needed to be completed. Found Jim on Craigslist. Easy to get in touch. Got his fee right on the phone. Schedule a time for him to come to my place to get the dishwasher and load to bring to another place for installation and removal of non-functioning unit.
He came on time. Took a look at the dishwasher and told me that will need repair since the hose was damaged. DARN! I was going to pay him for his time to come out and figure something else out. Jim didnt give up. He offer to come with me to HomeDepot and got a new dishwasher.
Once the installation began, he had to cut some of the floor tiles so the unit can fit nicely under the countertop.
After completion, he made sure the area was cleaned and things were back to where he found them.
Overall.. A+ in service and knowledge.
His price is a just a little higher than i would find elsewhere, but no hassle, no headaches and no haggling... Jim is worth every pennies.
Will definately use him again and highly recommended.

If you need anything fixed in your place Jim is your man! He is very knowledgeable and informative on all my issues with my older place. He has fixed my clogged sinks, A/C problems, three toilets and changed my electrical out on my door bell. The best thing about Jim is that he is someone you can trust. I received other quotes from repairmen and Jim fixed everything at half the cost. Thank you Jim!

Called him to fix my leaking sink and it cost 65$. He did at first but it started leaking again 2 weeks later in the same exact place. Now he says he is out of town for a month so said he can't fix it and didn't even offer to issue a refund. So now I'm stuck with a leaking sink and have to get someone else to fix the same problem so I'm out 65$. Wouldn't recommend!!

I had a glass shower door I needed removed and hauled away, I was contacted by Jim through Yelp, he gave me a fair quote and we scheduled a day to have it done. He texted me during the time frame we set up to let me know he was on his way, it took him about 30 minutes to complete the job. He was very professional and knew exactly what to do, thanks Jim. If I need you again, I won't hesitate to call.

Jimmy built a wooden gate for me. He did a good job on the gate, it's functional and I'm happy with it. HOWEVER, it took a little while to get him out here; I expected him one day, then we had to reschedule. Finally came and looked at it, then scheduled work for another day. He asked that I text him day-of to remind him...
He picked up the materials which was great but I never saw a receipt for the materials and I feel his price was inflated. AND he didn't finish the job. Said the painting couldn't be done because the wood was too wet. Said he would email me an invoice when he got home. Said we would schedule a time to finish. After SOOOO many attempts to contact him, I've never heard back.
ALSO, he brought his girlfriend who hung out while he worked.
So, if you don't care when or if the work gets done, maybe want to over-pay, and want to meet his girlfriend, you're in the right place.

Jim is amazing! I moved into my apartment months ago and have had this ""Pinterest"" idea set aside for much longer. It was something I thought I could accomplish on my own but after multiple visits to Home Depot and my work schedule I realized there would be little to no free time to complete the project. I started searching for handyman's to help me finish my vision. Jim showed up and went above and beyond my expectations. He not only put my vision to life but he did it in 20 minutes!!! Seriously!! His prices are crazy competitive and affordable. Without him my shelves would have gone un-mounted for another 4 months, at least! He also fixed my garbage disposal and hung my curtain rods in an hour.. So total that's an hour and 20 minutes of work that would have taken me ATLEAST 4 hours if I had done the work myself (probably more). If you're looking for an affordable, efficient, reliable, honest, hardworking handyman...Jim is the guy for you.

Jim is awesome. I've had Jim fix things here and there for my tenant/rental unit in Hillcrest for years now. Unfortunately, my tenant of 5 years did not pay the rent and gave me one week notice that she was moving out in the middle of the month. Luckily, I was able to find someone to move in at the beginning of the next month, which left me with only two weeks to get everything ready (and after 5 years, A LOT needed to be done, including a broken window, garbage disposal, refinishing the bath tub, patching up walls, etc etc the list goes on). I can always count on Jim to get things done not only in a pinch, but done well! Jim also replaced the water heater in my own house and was even nice enough to go to Home Depot and pick up the heater for us (otherwise we would have had to rent a truck or pay extra shipping costs). Thank you, Jim!!! I can't say it enough!
