It's hard to give them a grade on their work as we had a date planned for a bathroom renovation (over 2 weeks in advance) but they bailed on me.

I spoke with the lady who answers the phone and she was very nice in the process however, as the date approached she says we might be back up a couple of days to a week.

Annoying but not the end of the world.
our date comes and they say 3 weeks is earliest they can do it (and that's only when i contacted them - radio silence from them) and don't hold them to it. Their exact words on email ""stuff happens"".

That kind of sums it up.

so no bathroom renovation from them even though we bought all the stuff (tub, toilet, sink, etc) - I had to pay more to get it done on rush service via another plumber.

I gave them 2 stars because the woman was helpful on the phone initially and it's busy season. Also when we spoke after the situation she was very apologetic.

i hope to be able to use them in the future and will update the review accordingly.

Beware JS claims there yelp page and edits reviews. Hired them to winterize my house only to come out in the Spring and find they hadn't been properly drained. Rather then an apology they charged me for an incomplete. In the process they broke more pipes. I ended up fixing the pipes myself and winning a small claims judgment against. Still trying to collect. Their speciality is arrogance not customer service.

All I can say is beware of mysterious banging while a simple job (blowing out outdoor lines) is being done to your furnace. While I agreed to a valve replacement...a mysterious leak then appeared on my pressure valve ...""look at the water on the floor"" (it wasn't there before).
It could be repaired at 8AM the next day. I said my furnace was covered by a service contract....""nope, not that part....and they won't be here for a long time at this needs to be fixed NOW. (for a mere $350)"" I agreed and as soon as the repairman left, I called by furnace company. The pressure valve was fixed by 7PM that night. (at no cost).... the valve that was fixed could have been fixed by tightening a nut (instead of closing it off and replacing it with a new valve). There were ""mysterious"" new scratches around the pressure valve (the mysterious banging???) I have no proof, and I paid the bill, I did cancel the service call for the next day at 7:05pm). I make no accusations because I have no proof. My only advice is that if you do use these guys.....do not let them out of your sight.
