After performing some DIY plumbing, I unknowingly reused compromised water supply connectors. That night I saw water dripping from my ceiling.
My fear was a busted pipe in the wall. I spoke to Gene at J&S Plumbing, and I walked him through what I did. He quickly diagnosed the problem and put my fear of a busted pipe at ease. Gene came the following day with new connectors and refitted my bathroom sinks. He walked me through the entire process of what he was doing and showed me what went wrong with the old connectors. Many other emergency service plumbers would have come out and charged me for an emergency visit when it wasn't necessary.
I will definitely use him in the future and will definitely recommend to all friends and family.

Tonight at 1AM in the morning, my sump pump alarm went off. I have a pump that collects a lot of ground water and never stops - if not fixed, I would have a flooded basement in no time. I was under pressure as I was leaving for work in the morning for the weekend.

After calling a number of 24 hour emergency plumbing companies with no answer, I remembered seeing a recommendation for J&S Plumbing and Heating on a Facebook group and decided to give them a call as I was desperate.

Although Gene was in bed, once he heard my situation and knew that I was in trouble, he understood the consequences of not fixing the pump then and there and he told me give him a few minutes, he would get dressed and he'd be over.

He landed over fifteen minutes later and he was an absolute pro! He fixed my problem and repaired the shoddy workmanship of a previous plumber. He was very old school and was very reasonable for the late night repair and emergency situation.

He is very knowledgeable and really, just a nice guy. I would recommend him to anyone and I now have a new plumber! Gene knows his stuff!!! Call him, you will be happy you did!

I had a clogged basement sink. Gene answered my call for help quickly and came with tons of knowledge. Called and got a same day appointment with friendly service. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of because I am a woman (some companies pray on that). Gene explained everything before he started the work and checked up on the work a few days later to make sure I was satisfied. Have recommended to others with the same level of satisfaction.
