This is by far the worst ever seen. I don't even know how this company is in business. My warranty company assigned JR Plumbing to check my water heater 2Feb16, I think they are located somewhere in the Salado Texas area, the owner came took the deductible and literally disappeared. After several attempts to contacts finally got them to answer and they wanted more money. It took 2 months for them to call me to tell me they just received the heater, that he would be there maybe the next day to install and that he needed me to pay an additional 685.00 for not covered charges.
I just got the water heater replaced by a local company yesterday, yes 5 months.
I can keep writing here all day about how incompetent JR Plumbing is but to summarize it "This Company is very bad, and will take advantage of you. Stay away from them". If my warranty company ever send them again to service my stuff I will fire them too.

My home warranty company recommended this plumbing company. I called immediately for an appointment. No answer, so I left detailed voicemail. Waited 2 days. Called again, no answer, left voicemail. Called warranty co. They initiated a 3-way conference call, but no answer, so they too had to leave a voicemail. Another day passes. I called warranty co again to complain and to get assigned a new plumbing service. They insist we should try again, so they finally get JR Plumbing on the phone on a 3-way call. Lady answered and started calling me "Darlin" and "Honey." I told her I had left voicemails and she said, "I don't really use that voicemail stuff. Some people like it, but not me. I don't like texts either." She said she was not sitting at a computer so she could not look up schedules to book an appointment for me. (Who do they have working at this company?) She says she will call me back in a few hours.... No phone call.
I had to call warranty co back and request a wholly new plumbing service provider.
I would NOT recommend JR Plumbing. Save yourself the time and hassle.

Like the other reviewer, was assigned this company by a warranty company. They clearly were in it only to get the diagnosis fee, not do the work. My calls went unreturned and different excuses made for three weeks before they officially said they couldn't replace water heater since it was in attic. I'm pretty sure this was noticeable on the first visit!?!.Terrible communication and questionable business ethics. Avoid.

Horrible customer service and bad business ethics! We were assigned this company by our home warranty company. They came out and gave us a quote for $480 to replace our hot water heater. We told our warranty company to proceed with the claim. 3 days later they called and said it would cost $780.00. After going back and forth, we gave up and placed the order. They were supposed to install on Monday...surprise, surprise, this nasty woman called and said that now it was going to cost $830! My husband asked her why it increased again and she got nasty and said she deals with dummies like him every day and that he needed to do the math! Nice! Our warranty company got involved again and they told her she could not raise the price and she refused the work! I'm sure the price would have risen again when they came to install!

Rude, customer service and they do not follow up.
First of all, I normally do not place negative feedback on Yelp or any customer experience websites. However, I truly believe this is warranted. Last year, I had a plumbing issue and through my home warranty company was recommended to JR Plumbing. There were multiple rescheduling and the interactions with Wanda, customer service representative, were truly disappointing. She was rude, unkind, and belittling. She even shouted, " NOW LISTEN TO ME!!!" when service was not delivered based upon the agreed timeframe. My Home Warranty Company later connected me to another servicing company who was able to take care of the issue.
Fast forward to this year, I had another plumbing issue, and my home warranty company referred me to JR Plumbing. At first, I hesitated, but then thought, everyone is entitled to a second chance. Well, I have to eat my words. The service was extremely unprofessional again. Wanda, customer service representative, was just as rude as the first experience. There was multiple rescheduling after confirmations. I had to give my address multiple times. My husband missed multiple days of work in order to accommodate the unmet service appointments. Wanda was often defensive and used demeaning terms "honey, sweetie, etc. when she was trying to be nice. When I expressed concern about the unmet appointments, she would get quickly become irritated and result to shouting over the phone"NOW LISTEN TO ME!!!". Please do not use this company. If they tolerate this type of office customer service, there onsite service mostly like will be atrocious as well. See the company's information below.
