Josh, who was assigned to us, quickly diagnosed the issue. Within a few hours he had the parts he needed. The next day he was back to finish everything! This, after two other less honest plumbers told my wife and I we would need a wildly expensive remodel instead of a simple repair. I cannot recommend Joy Plumbing enough! Awesome service, professionalism and honesty!

I wish I could give them 0 stars. We have been without hot water for more than 2 weeks. American Home Shield sent them to repair my water heater. I was told they had to or a gas control valve from the manufacturer. The plumbing company said it would arrive in about a week. 17 days later I find out they closed the ticket without returning to complete the repair and they never submitted a diagnosis to AHS. I still have no hot water and AHS won't do anything until they can get Joy Plumbing answer their phones and to complete their paperwork.

The company was sent by AHS to replace a compression shut off valve (which screws on to the copper pipe shut off valve) underneath the kitchen sink. They said the AHS said that it was not covered by them. Therefore I had to pay $489.00 to replace a shut off valve. This shut off valve cost about $20-40. The shut off valve literally screws off of the copper pipe and then screw the new one on. Takes a few minutes to do. This should only cost about $80-125, including the valve. I say stay FAR FAR WAY away from a rip off company like this, NO INTEGRITY !!!. I do this work on the side, because it was a condo, i had to get a licensed plumber to do the job.. I was blown by that ridiculous price. I had another company come and handle for the price mentioned.

This is the 2nd time we have used Joy through our home warranty. Josh has been the technician both times and he is a delight. He is so warm and polite and is great at explaining the issue, what he is doing to fix it, and letting me know what would be covered by the warranty and what wouldn't. On this occasion, he gave us an easy self-fix for the problem that he knew wouldn't be covered, so that we would not be replacing something unnecessarily and facing a cost. He replaced a part that I had not asked about when he noticed how old it was, and was in and out in 40 min. He cleaned up the bathroom himself and took the trash to the can outside so I wouldn't have to deal with it. Travis, the scheduler, is very easy to work with and polite and called me less than an hour after we were assigned to work with Joy. I will be using them for projects not covered by the warranty if I ever need a plumber and hope that they are always who are assigned to help us out!

This is second time this company has sent josh the plumber to my home and both times he was rude and very unprofessional. Back in 2019 he lied about replacing all parts in tiolet only to find out today old parts are still there causing same problem. Called me a liar on two separate occasions today at which time I told him to leave my home. This young man has some serious issues going on with him and needs to be terminated from his job! I have asked American Home Shield to remove this company from the list.

Josh came to my home this morning to unclog two stoppages-- my bathroom sink and shower. He was successful in clearing out both; but caused another drastic problem in my kitchen sink. While he was on the premises I advised him there was a problem in the kitchen. He called AHS and advised AHS that he had other appointments. I also called AHS and they were willing to allow the job to be completed but because the plumber on site was not available, another ticket had to be opened and another fee had to be paid.

Joy Plumbing did not complete the job. Before you leave the job site it is your duty to make sure all parts are functioning correctly. That is good ethical practices.

Another plumbing company came, cleared out the sink, checked to make sure water was running freely in all sinks, tubs, and showers before he left. It took him 20 minutes to do the job.

I will never use Joy Plumbing again!!

Had the opportunity to use this company twice. Always found them to be one time, honest and fair priced. They are a small company, but definitely worth looking at!

Josh was the best!! He was on time, polite and very professional. He even remained professional when my two little dogs tried to rip him apart. I was doubtful at first because I sometimes feel like companies try to rip the consumer off, but Josh eased my mind. I didn't know what needed to be done, I had only known that a plumber was needed. He assessed the situation and handled it like a pro. He stayed for 2 hours just going over everything to make sure the problem was rectified. He came, he saw, he conquered LOL. Oh he cleaned up like a pro as well even requesting the vacuum cleaner. I would like to request this company to handle my next service call but unfortunately AHS doesn't work like that.

Very dissatisfied with the professionalism and work ethic! We had to ask the technician to wear booties to protect the white carpet; he asked for plastic gloves to work with and then asked for more gloves to take with him. Most importantly, he checked some plumbing that is still having issues but according to the home warranty provider, the technician said that he never checked those particular items.
