We rent in fieldstone farms, Joslin is the 'go to' for our property manager. We've dealt with them for 3 and 1/2 years. They seem fine for really easy fixes. But not when the problem is a bit deeper. We went without air conditioning for the entire 4th of July weekend, which hit a high of 99 degrees. By Monday morning, my husband called Joslin for the 4th time to see if they'd ordered the Carrier WeatherMaker two-zone system board - to which the man who came to our home Saturday evening said we needed. By twenty to 9 in the morning they had not, but were sending another tech.... that is when I called and asked why send another tech - the tech on Saturday, who was here for an hour and made 3 phone calls stated with certainty that it was the board. I was told they needed to send another tech to verify. That is when I called another company with our property manager's approval. By 11AM Joslin had still not been to our home - completely unacceptable.

Here's the bottom line, the other company found that the thermostat had been wired wrong, and also wired roughly - the wires are slightly damaged. Secondly, the outside unit had something broken on it, and third, the transformer had blown to which they placed a new fuse. A board was not needed.

I see that Joslin has many good reviews. Perhaps they can turn this around - as to the other company - they spoke highly of Joslin, stating yes, they're competitors, but that they like them very much. That is a class act.

I had them out to work on our system, our AC was on the fritz. Its become an annual event to tune up the old system and keep it running. One of their younger techs was intelligent and patient enough to do what needed to be done. The tech this year, not so much - more interested in pushing the cost of a new unit on us than getting our system running again. Obviously I'm not expecting miracles, just competent techs who aren't in the business of lazy work. Scratch that, lazy, but more profitable work. I though Joslin was a good company to work with, but I put this out there as a warning to other customers, be very careful when working with them, they are just like many others - not motivated by solid, ethical, and competent service, they are motivated by the sale.

When I called back to have them out again (second time in two days) the tech, who I believe is named Jason, told the office to tell me NO, they would not be back out. And rather than lose a customer that only asked them to come back to take a look, they have now LOST a customer to their very poor ""service"" decisions.

Be weary of this guy, he must get some nice commissions for duping people into new units.

I called Joplin to unclog a shower drain. I called and they sent someone out in a few hours. The gentleman was quick, polite, and the price was only $70! Great experience

Prompt service at time promised. Repairs were done well, and Danny was pleasant and careful to keep things clean as he worked. The price was great--much lower than the company I'd been using. I paid by check, but they take Mastercard and Visa also. I would definitely call them the next time I need a plumber.

These guys are fantastic! Our downstairs central heating was down. We called our friend's large, well-known heating business and they gave us a $7000 bid for a replacement system. Then we called Joslin, and for a few hundred bucks they had it up and running!

We've had Joslin to our home several times. They have always been prompt, courteous and professional. They have also always corrected any problem I've had from HVAC to Plumbing. I am not one who actually likes any contractor, and I have honestly never recommended one before, but I must say that the service I've received from Joslin is great, and I will never use anyone else for my HVAC or plumbing needs-you shouln't either!

We were astounded- The Joslin Plumbing technician wanted 150.00 just to get out of his van. I'm serious- as in "" I'm not getting out of this van unless you write me a check for 150.00...... "" We were floored. Staff onsite have no authority to write checks to anyone.

We are a Church who just had Joslin out 3 weeks earlier to help us with another problem. That bill came to 750.00. After the first visit- we thought we had a business we could count on.
We will no longer be using Joslin Plumbing and will let all other churches in the Franklin , TN (as well as all Middle Tennesee churches in our association) know of our experience.

They may have been great at one time- stay away from them now.

Joslin had good reviews on Yelp and was also recommended on a neighborhood online group site so I thought I would give them a call. One of our toilets was leaking at the bottom after each flush. I called Joslin and the woman who answered was so kind and professional. They show up the next morning 1st thing (around 7:50). Within a few minutes he knew what the problem was, had the kit in the van, and replaced it. He was done within 30 min. Afterwards we asked questions about a few other small concerns and he was happy to educate us on the best way to approach the concerns. Punctuality, cleanliness, and getting the job completed, are sadly things that don't always happen and Joslin left us feeling refreshed while giving us hope that there are still companies out there ready to deliver.

I'm not a shill and rarely rely on reviews here but I gotta say: this company is awesome. Had an emergency leak upstairs - they were here in 20 minutes and didn't charge me overboard because of it. Also because they had such good service called them back for an AC service and someone was here an hour later. No high pressure add ons, no bs. They're great.

Pretty much agree with the other positive reviews. Joslin is the 4th plumbing company. I have used since moving here. I like that they are located in Franklin. They replaced a pressure regulator valve that was making noise, and added an external faucet. The work was done in a reasonable time and at what I felt was a fair price. They also agreed to work with my homeowners warranty company, even though they were not on that companies approved list. Recommended.
