Happy with their work. Came as promised and did a good job. Yes, it was more expensive than I hoped, but the price was fair for the work done. What isn't?

I had hired them a number of times for small jobs without incident. I called them recently to replace a sprayer hose on my kitchen faucet that had a small leak in it. They told me to have a spare faucet ready, just in case something went wrong. They came and didn't even try to replace the hose. They destroyed my functioning faucet by cutting all the hoses to it, and then broke the new ""spare"" faucet while installing it (and denied breaking it). They then told me to buy another different faucet that they were more comfortable installing. Eventually I had a working kitchen sink again. Then the bill came. They then charged me for 2 trips (one to break my original faucet and my 1st replacement, the next to install the 2nd replacement). Costs totaled almost $600 to install a faucet (not including the 2 faucets I purchased, that pushes it to over $1K). When I called to see if they could make it right, i.e., at least adjust their labor charge down, the office manager got frustrated and hung up on me. I truly feel taken advantage of by them, but what can I do? I will never call them again and I suggest you don't either.

They are on time and good at what they do, only issue for me is they are expensive. Or maybe I am just too out dated on the labor cost nowadays. Either way I was not aware their rate $350 per hour for two people and I was shocked when I received the bill. How stupid was I, making small talk and consulting for future work while paying them at that rate.

I have worked with them a few times. They are responsive and communication is to the point. Prices are fair.

Joseph G Perry is run by Gary in the Main office that commands a handful of young talented plumbers. They replaced a Shower, Bath Faucet and Drain System within 10 days of my initial call. Their plumbers that come onsite are friendly, prompt, professional and talented. Carpentry work was needed on my job and they did a bang up job there. The only gripes I have is their main office does not return your calls. I had to pester them and leave 2 messages and reply via email to get them to call me back. They did go way over budget on the initial estimate, but it was fair because the job was a bear to do and involved carpentry. I usually do my own plumbing but this was too big of a job for me. They sent Ethan and Elliot, 2 talented plumbers/carpenters to do the 6 man hour job They are expensive, but good talent is hard to find these days especially old school plumbing which is taught by Gary and was requested and done here. Perry is a good 7am-5pm M-F plumber, but I don't think they will respond to an after hours call in a emergency. I think they really hand pick their jobs. I would call them back to do another job definitely. We will see if they respond to my next job when I call ?

Joseph G. Perry team went out of their way to contact me on a package that was mistakenly delivered across town to their address. They were diligent in contacting us and this required some figuring out as our phone number or correct address wasn't on the package. Although this review isn't directly related to their plumbing business - this act does show their 1) that they are caring for people 2) Honest business 3) due diligence and follow-up. Team well done!

I cannot give this company a review based on work performance because I never got the opportunity to work with them. Joe Perry came to my house, looked over the job and said he would get back to me with and estimate. That never happened. I had to call him back to find out what was going on with the estimate, and at that time he told me he couldn't give me an estimate because he was unsure of a particular aspect of the job. Bottom line, he didn't want to do the job but failed to let me know. A little courtesy would have been nice and saved me some time.

Wish I could write a good review but sadly felt ripped off by this plumber. Had to get a simple faucet cartridge replaced. Made an appointment a week in advance. Took time off from work to be there when they came. They didn't show for an hour and a half past the appointment with no call. Then finally called and said running late and could they come the next day. Told them I had to work so showed up that day. With one twist of the pipe wrench the faucet came loose and I could have done the rest of the job. Even bought my own cartridge! Took less than 5 minutes to replace. Off they went! Got a bill for $150 dollars! I called asking politely for an adjustment given my inconvenience waiting around for them and the less than 5 minutes to do the work. I suggested $100 might be fair. Was told had to check with Gary and they'd call back. But they never did. So I called again to promptly pay. Was told the minimum charge was $150 and they wouldn't budge. Included ""travel time"" which was 15 minutes from the late phone call to showing up. So I promptly paid the full $150 and they were unconcerned about me telling them they were losing a customer (for many years) and also would post a review about this poor customer service. Beware. I understand having to earn a living, but I also don't like feeling ripped off. You should beware too!

Gary came on a Saturday when our circulation pump died. He swapped it out with a steady efficiency. He also noticed an issue with our damper that he corrected which he estimated will save 10% annually. At least four other plumbers over the years failed to notice that! Great work! Thank you, Gary.

Hi, for all readers:

This is my recent experience with Joseph G Perry Plumbing.

I called them for a quote for hooking up washer and gas dryer to existing pipes/vent, and also simply to place drain pans under these two machines(I bought the pans myself from Amazon). On the phone, I was given $130/hour for the project, and was told they could not give the estimation of total hours until they come and look. I am fine with it since Bestbuy would like to charge me $180 totally for the whole installation when I bought these machines.
I think 2~3 hours should be totally enough. Therefore I made an appointment with them.

On that installation day, two persons came, finished the work in exactly 2 hours (I do not have any comments for the job speed or quality).

One man did the actual tasks of hooking up machines. The other young man looked like a young student, standing and watching in the whole progress mostly, only
(1) helped to lift the washer into the drain pan (less than 5 minutes )
(2) went to buy one pipe or connection they did not bring with them (about 30 minutes round trip).

Here is exciting part:

When the final bill came, I was charged by two persons. One person is $130/h and the other young person $103/h, each person is 2 hours work on the bill.

I tried to talked to Joseph G Perry Plumbing, they were honesty about what the second young person did, only lifting and driving/buying. They also confirmed I was giving $130/hour when I asked for the quote, and they did not tell me two person will be charged at that rate. But Joseph G Perry insisted that they always sent two people, and charged two people, and refused to modify the final bill, even though they confirmed, I was charged $206 for the second man for lifting the washer into the drain pan, and going out to buy some missing parts.

BTW, the first man and I lift the dryer into another drain pan when the second man was out for buying missing parts, which also less than 5 minus.

Here is my personal experiences with Joseph G Perry Plumbing.

the final bill is nearly $600, to hooking up washer/dryer to existing pipes/vent, which Bestbuy's quote is $180 totally.

The reason why I gave 1 star is : please clarify the total rate dollars/hours in the quote call. if you want to charge two people, it is $233/hour, not $130/hours.
