Our original HVAC company said my Carrier furnace was broken. I called this company to get a second opinion and they agreed with the first company. Alexis, the very nice salesperson, gave me a quote on three systems, and helpful information to review. We chose Joseph Frederick & Sons because they are a certified Carrier provider and they only install Carrier systems. All of the HVAC professionals were friendly and explained the system well. The cleaned up after themselves.

We are so grateful to have found Joseph Frederick & Sons when we moved to Delaware 14 years ago. We've had them come to our house for HVAC issues but also for electrical work and plumbing. Everyone who has come into our home has been very competent, very professional and also very personable. Joseph Frederick & Sons goes back generations and you can sense their pride in their history in this community. It has been so reassuring to my husband and me to know that we can count on them to fix plumbing issues, water heaters, garbage disposals, etc. - that they will come in a timely way and complete their work. The office staff is also very responsive and professional. We especially appreciate everyone's consideration during the pandemic.

This company is fraudulent and deceptive. They kept my mom's rebate for her carrier HVAC. When she tried to call them about the matter, Brian said that he was going to bring her a $100.00 check. Watch out -- they have complaints with BBB and FTC.

My 15-year-old AC began to fail just before the beginning of a predicted long and severe heat wave. After doing some quick but extensive research into repair vs. replace, and into the various makes, models, and installers, I decided ultimately to purchase a new Carrier AC from Jos. Frederick & Sons. My decision was based in large part on my having had the pleasure to work with Mr. Bud Thompson, who I found to be very professional, knowledgeable, and forthright. I felt that he was truly advising me rather than just trying to sell to me. The AC was installed in just a couple of days and it has performed flawlessly since. Thank you Bud, for all your advice and help, and thank you Jeff and Rudy for doing such a great job on the installation!

Tim at Joseph Frederick & Sons was terrific! We just bought the house and I needed him for 5 or 6 jobs: change the garbage disposal from one side of the sink to the other, grind holes in two sinks and add soap dispensers, clean out and ream the lower level drains to be sure they weren't clogged, reposition a toilet, add new kitchen faucets, add new shower faucets, etc. What a professional! Great attitude, on time, worked steady, knew what he was doing.

Their HVAC guys are terrific also. Had them out twice to check hot water heater, de-humidifier and base HVAC unit.

I wouldn't call any one else and for the plumbing portion I would only use Tim!

Joseph Frederick & Sons couldn't be bothered to give me an estimate for a new bathtub - they said they were too busy this year - this after I have bought a central AC system from them as well as several yearly heating/AC service contracts from them - they found the perfect way to turn a return customer into former customer.

They do really good work and are very professional and courteous during installation. They are a high integrity company.

They can be pricey, which is why I'm giving 4/5 stars, but you do get what you pay for.

Great experience. Arrived quickly. Fast diagnosis of problem with heater. Multiple solutions given to fix problem. Option given for overnight shipping for part needed. Kind. Courteous. We felt like a priority.
