In the perfect world, all plumbers would be Kenny Jorgensen. I could tell you that he's the worst so that we don't have to share him with anyone else, but Kenny is clearly in the literally TOP 1% of plumbers in the Santa Barbara area. He's responsive at times no one else would be available; he's competent, and his prices are extremely fair. He's extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of plumbing and makes excellent recommendations in an effort to both save you money in the long haul, and to make things work better. For example, we have a urinal in the master bathroom and it was problematic. Kenny recommended that we simply cap it off since we REALLY didn't need it. Apparently, they are always fraught with problems, particularly when not exercised regularly. He's competent with all materials, from cast iron to Schedule 40 and from copper to PEX. We absolutely love Kenny and chose him first--always! And we even have a plumber across the street!

OMG. We attempted to fix a laundry valve and got in over our heads and were scurrying around to find a plumber asap when I saw on Nextdoor that a bunch of people recommended Kenny. Then we asked a friend of ours who is a SB based realtor and Kenny was also on his list. So we called and left a message. He called right back and didn't shame us for what we'd done. Instead he said he'd be here in a few hours. Like a plumbing super hero he arrived in his white truck. Took a look. Offered an assessment and got to work. In less than an hour he was done and we had peace of mind. Kenny was super honest and charged a very fair price. He is now starred in our contact list of go-to guys.
