I found Jon through the Nextdoor app when my bathtub faucet wouldn't shut off. He immediately wedged me into the schedule. He diagnosed the problem and swapped out the faulty part within minutes. Jon is very professional, knowledgeable, and an all-around normal person.

I called him today because our client is out of town on vacation and a home inspector told us there was a water leak under the house. Another client of us, who recently sold his property, told us wonders about Jon, so I called him to find out how much would he charge to go out to the property and give us an estimate for the repair. By the way, I consider myself a very polite person and value the time of all contractors. Jon took my call, I greeted him and identified myself and told him we had a house in escrow. Before I could say more his words were: I am busy at a job and hanged up the call. I don't know what his beef is his houses in escrow, but it is rude and unprofessional to treat potential costumers like that.

Just used Jon for first time... he went above and beyond! Originally I thought I would have to spend money on brand new hot water tank, but Jon realized that wasn't the problem and saved me serious dough by detecting the real problem, which saved me a ton. He was punctual, prompt and also very diligent -- pointing out a couple of other problems that could have posed a danger, and quickly remedied those things too. Great plumber, whom I will definitely be using again!

After weeks of speculation, I finally got around to testing whether our toilet was leaking (a little food coloring, worked great), and when I realized it was leaking on a recent Saturday morning, I began the search for a new plumber (our previous one having been bought out, with a subsequent drop in review quality). After checking Angie's List, Next Door, and Yelp, I decided to contact Jon's Plumbing. I connected with him quickly by phone, and I explained the situation. He gave me two prices on the phone and explained why it might be the higher one (replacing only the flapper vs replacing both flapper and valve). We made arrangements for him to come by in about 45 minutes (after he finished at another client) and he was on time and after a friendly greeting to our two dogs, got right to work. He quickly diagnosed the issue was with both parts, and showed me the problems (I.e., he didn't just tell me it would be the higher price). He was done fairly quickly and we've had no problems since (a few weeks now). In all fairness, I did not price shop, so I cannot speak to how competitive his pricing is, but for me, in this case, I wanted the repair done on a Saturday, he was upfront about the price, showed up more quickly than anyone could reasonably expect, and did what we needed to have done. That earns a 5-star review from me. I would certainly contact him again for similar plumbing problems.

First plumbers quoted $550 - $650, but Jon gave me an honest price over the phone and finished the job at $325. He was decent, kind, and respectful... if you're into that sort of thing. I know I am!

Great experience with Jon! He came out on short notice, and was very prompt and professional, and explained everything along the way. He came out to install a valve for our kitchen sink and took extra time fixing our water pressure issue as well as repairing a small leak. I will be definitely be calling him again for future plumbing needs.

I highly recommend Jon! He is professional, reliable, honest, and knows what he's doing. After a really long day at work, I came home to a leaking water heater. (I was tired and cranky so picture fist waving in the air and screaming at the heavens.) I started fiddling with the water heater, and eventually used the shut-off valve to stop the leaking. I called Jon early the next morning based on all of the positive yelp reviews. So glad I did! He was at our house within an hour (he was in the middle of another job) and immediately assessed we had an issue with our water pressure regulator. He had a new one in his truck and replaced it on the spot. Problem solved! Jon, being the professional that he is, circled back to the water heater, tightened a few things, and made sure everything was in order. He also kindly mopped up the pool of water in the water heater pan to ensure he was leaving the unit in an environment that wouldn't promote rust/corrosion. We'll be calling Jon whenever we need help with our plumbing!
