I purchased a faucet replacement for my bathroom sink online and needed someone to install it. I was told that a diagnostic visit would cost $100 and then if I accepted the job the $100 would be applied to the cost of the job. We set an appointment for later in the week but I received a call that there was room in the schedule to come out this afternoon. I estimated the job would take 20-30 minutes tops as the faucet was only a year old and part of a bathroom remodel. So I was shocked when the plumber arrived and I was told the the price was going to be over $300. But if I refused the job I would still need to pay $100 for the visit. Wow. I asked them to reconsider and the plumber called the office in Safety Harbor. I asked to speak to the manager and negotiated a price of $225. The work took 27 minutes (I timed it) not including processing my credit card etc. The company told me they have been purchased by a larger company so they are no longer a local Safety Harbor company. The tech was great and the end product was great. I wish I had asked for the cost of the project before the visit... I would have cone elsewhere. I share this information so that others can learn from my experience. I should have requested, or the office manager should have offered, a price quote. I did speak to the office manager before posting this so this should not come as a surprise.

Jones & Sons is a great, fair and honest company. Anyone I've talked to on the phone (usually Jimmy) and had come out to our house has been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We've have many things done, from dishwasher and garbage disposal installation to a swap out of the trim on our drop in Jacuzzi tub, which was a very tricky job. We've never had an issue with any of the work we've had done. Highly recommend Jones & Sons!

My next door neighbor had them come out. They had the nerve to use my hose and rinsed there equipment off behind my mobile home! Leaving a pool of sewer water in the grass. So unprofessional, I told them we walk through here in our bare feet along with our grandchildren and pets. He didn't say nothing to me he turned around and went out to the van. No apology no nothing. I wouldn't recommend these guys for anything! The rating is zero!

Shoddy work done when replacing a heating element in my water heater caused a pipe to disconnect early on a Saturday morning and they don't work weekends. I had to call another emergency plumber to repair what they left unfinished.

Jones & Sons installed a new drain system in our bathroom and their work was not only perfect, but their professionalism and communication was wonderful. They didn't try to overcharge due to the fact that it took longer than anticipated. I will never use any other plumbing service.

After attempting to hire another plumber with a 5* yelp rating (who couldn't even be bothered to return a phone call), I arranged an appointment with Jones & Sons. Shame on me for not calling Jones first! Everything was perfect - the plumber on our call, Joe, was on time, pleasant +++, & a very knowledgeable professional. His work was easy for him (not so for me) - he installed a new garbage disposal & cleared a clogged sink in the guest bathroom. Everything, right down to the price, was spot on. I could not have hoped for a better outcome & will definitely call Jones again for future plumbing needs. Well it was really hard to not take a shower, or do the dishes for three days. We exhausted all our efforts to try and clear the clog in our kitchen and tub ourselves. James came an hour and a half after we called, which was so nice having a quick response time. He did the job within a couple of hours, explained what he did. What a great guy, and very respectful. I thought this was going to cost me an arm and a leg, but was pleasantly surprised at the low cost. Thank you James you made our day.

Very prompt and professional. The estimate was right on the money. Had a quote to replace a faucet on my kitchen sink for over $390. Jones and Sons did for about half that. Will definitely use them again. Responded in 1 day.
