Back in 1958, the Jones family launched their venture in the plumbing field on Newville Rd in the Carlisle area. By 1980, the founder mentored his heir, his son Steven, teaching him the expertise needed to take over the operation. By 1986, the business location moved to the present location. By 1990, the company was established as Jones Plumbing Inc.. The year 1993, for better customer support, Steven hired his brother Ronald, Ronald M., as manager of operations. In 1995, as the business expanded, expansion was needed for facilities to grow. An expanded complex was constructed to include more shop area, administrative areas, and a new display area. By 2001, the founder became the owner of the company, continuing the Jones family tradition into the new millennium. In 2012, Jason acquired the business. The exhibit was refreshed and additional options were offered to our customers. The year 1995, he graduated with an accolade in technology education. the owner welcomed him at Jones Plumbing Inc. as an entry-level plumber. The year 1996, he wed his partner and went to Valley Forge College to pursue a pastor while Melanie completed her early education degree. In 1998, the couple returned to Carlisle and he returned to Jones Plumbing Inc.. Following more education, Jason was promoted to a service technician. In 2000, Jason and Melanie accompanied by their two-year-old daughter, relocated to Millersburg, PA to serve as part-time youth leaders while maintaining part-time plumbing responsibilities. By 2001, Jason established his own remodeling business, Wetzel's Contracting in the Millersburg area while continuing working in the church. By 2003, they purchased a property in Carlisle and moved back with their two children, their son and daughter. The year 2012, he purchased Jones Plumbing Inc. while continuing his renovation firm.

the 3% charge for using a debit card instead of by paying by check is also a deceptive practice. had i been informed in advance i would have paid by check or cash.
why would i permit a plumber to pick out my faucet sight unseen? i was told they were on the truck and could go out and see what was on hand. the brand was moen; a brand carried by lowes just to correct one of your plumbers who noted their products are crap.
trying to justify a $699 charge to replace a few valves, sell me a $199 faucet not relaying the price before doing so, installing
the bidet, as well as the deceptive practices of your business have nothing to do with quality; it just has to do with greed.
a quality business would have been concerned about these practices enough to ask what can we do better? i never received a call from you about my experience and made it pretty clear to the bickering plumbers i was upset. i spoke with and emailed todd paulus a few times before ever seeing the invoice. charging close to $400 for labor for 2 plumbers for a one hr and 20 min. visit is more than physicians get paid. furthermore, why would a business need to send 2 plumbers for this job is beyond me.
i have spent over 3 decades working in quality improvement in the healthcare industry. i know the hallmarks of quality and you are missing the mark!
Our water heater was in need of being replaced and after calling several plumbers with no results, Todd answered and got a crew out to our house that same day. Caleb and Owen went over the specifics of the system and talked about options we could go through to get the right hot water supply for the house. Their service was friendly, they careful with the work area, and the guys cleaned up before leaving. I know now to call Jones Plumbing first to get the service we need done right.
My wife called in to see how much it would cost to fix a problem with our shower's valve cartridge. she called Jones plumbing because their website says that their estimates are free. Guy comes out and charges $120 after looking at it for 2 min. He insisted that she had to pay him and she paid him. I called in to get the charge refunded and they said that because my wife didn't explicitly request for a free estimate the phone they considered in a service call. Plumber I spoke to said he would talk to the owner but as of right now they haven't refunded us.
I would not recommend this company. Im confident they charged my wife because they felt they could take advantage of my pregnant wife who was the only one home when the plumber came to give us the estimate.
What's more, when they sent us the estimate it was an outrageous price and they claimed they had to rip out the vanity in the other bathroom to fix the shower cartridge from the other side. That is not true.
I called to get an estimate for a basement bathroom repair. They sent a plumber who looked at the toilet 5 minutes, charged us over $100 dollars, and told me to call someone else at their office.
Beth G.A little over two years since we last worked with Jones Plumbing and we still are happy with their work. First off, they returned our call for an estimate. Two others in the area....they never called us back. Jones set up a time and replaced our hot water tank today on our schedule. They were arrived on time and came in below estimate with the install of our new hot water heater. It is a Bradford White, American made and energy efficient, with a mechanism to help prevent silt build up. Here's hoping that tank lasts as long as the last one from Bradford White, it was over 25 years by our calculations. Jones only installs Bradford White and made sure we weren't taken for a ride by buying a smaller unit that costs more. They were quick on the install but the work is quality. We definitely will work with them again for any major plumbing needs.
We Had Main Bathroom Completely Done Over, They Started On June 17th. They Finish a Little Over 2 Weeks Later. They Did a OUTSTANDING Job. They Are Very Neat and Very Trust Worthy. We're Very PLEASE With All The Work They Did. We Would HIGHLY Recommend Them.
Bill C.As you have seen, I posted reviews for these guys before. But because i was so pleased with them, I hired them to do a bathroom remodel and fix an outside drain issue. Again very pleased with the completed work, time it took to finish, price and there customer service. Also, on a spur of the moment, I had them put in a new kitchen faucet. No problem, they rolled right along. Definetly should hire them.
