DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOGLE REVIEWS, THESE ARE MORE ACCURATE. First did not come out with part and was SPECIFICALLY ASKED TO DO SO. We already knew the issue, it was a $6.96 gasket piece for a Kohler toilet. I guess they assumed we were stupid and good to be conned because they asked to see our water heater...for a toilet issue....why??? They then found a VERY minor leak and wanted $1200 to fix both toilets and the water heater. $600 for replacing two gaskets alone. It gets better I went to home depot bought the two gaskets and replaced them in less than five minutes each. Today I get a call from the worlds most argumentative "client manager" who has ZERO business calling people who are already pissed and then arguing with them. "Premier service" uh expensive, premier, hardly. The best part was we already had the one connector on the water heater replaced, it was $125 when a LICENSED plumber replaced that, they want $600 for the same EXACT replacement of the other one. Four dollar part...and 30 minutes...do not be a sucker and use these guys, IMO, worst than a unethical mechanic.

Beware of this company. I thought they were an honest company going by the guy on the commercial. But I was wrong . I recently had them come do some repairs, electrical and HVAC.
The HVAC cost me $1400 for them to run 2 drain lines on my AC units. I figured ok, guess they know what they're doing. That same day it leaked. They sent another guy out and fixed it.
Secondly I had one of their electricians come out and do some work that cost me $1800. Now I'm no electrician but for what he did seemed high. So when I asked about one last issue , running a ground wire , he told me that'd put me in the next service level ?? Huh?? Then he pulled out his chart and said your in this level, $1800, if I do this ground wire it will put you in the next level which is $3100. I realized that I was being hustled. I ended up getting a smaller electric co to come out and do it for $400 and only took them one hour. The difference was huge ! With John Wayne I woulda paid another $1100 or more compared to $400
Last of all was their plumbing guy. He quoted me almost $5000 on some minor repairs that prob would take one day. I knew after the above work that I needed a second bid. I hired another company and got it done for $600.
I'm pissed at myself for being too lazy to look around. I figured John Wayne was the way to go since I would only have to deal with ONE company. Try another company first. Never again. Nothing against the repair guys but they need to stop over charging !! Next time I will get more bids

I was contacted by the owner who addressed the issues I had. He cares about his company and wanted to hear customer concerns. Appreciate the follow up.

They sent an aggressive, high pressure salesman to try and persuade me to purchase a system with options, technical specifications or extended service plans that I don't want or need. Their "technicians" get paid off of commission and it shows.
I spent a lot of money to have a new system installed by Jon Wayne for the downstairs of my home. It has been in my home for a little over 72 hours and this new unit has worked for less than 24. I am currently being told that it will be at least three or four days before their "24/7 service professionals" will be able to even come to my house and determine that they installed a unit with a busted compressor.
I have never lived anywhere that had such a lack of reputable businesses to handle HVAC issues. It seems that all the companies here are working together to make pricing for their services less than transparent and prices artificially high. I suspect they are engaged in price gouging and market manipulation for this market. I will be bringing my concerns to the Texas AG

Never ever trust a repair company that pays their employees off commission. The more they sell you, the more they get paid. Which is the beginning of the problems we had with Jon Wayne.
AC broke - that happens. They responded within 24 hours - dumb me, believed the trucks and TV commercials. But the technician oversold my wife $1200 in repairs. Which lasted a week (and my system is not old and we have it serviced regularly).
I was home when the second crew came. They would not wear COVID masks until I asked. They spent an hour determining it was a switch in the inside unit - $2400 to repair. I asked how - said it was very labor intensive. Well, turns out the crew that installed that unit three years ago let me help (they were too busy to come the first time). The whole thing took 3 hours. Absolutely outrageous quote unless you remember they work on commission only. So I asked for replacement costs - basic system $7500 and top of the line was, drum roll, $21,000. I asked if it came with a new roof, they looked confused. And I sent them away. I'll put wet towels over fans and stay cool until I can get someone else here.
If you missed it at the front of this review - NEVER trust a repair company that pays their employees off commission. They will mark up your service and sell you stuff you don't need.
Fun fact - my wife is a realtor with one of the largest brokerages in the area. She has a good HVAC story for her clients now.

Yikes !! They quoted me 800.00 more than the original people who came out. I have seen their advertisements on TV and thought i would call. I am shocked.

Although pricing was a bit out of my budget, Rudy Johnson is the most professional and pleasant sales person I have ever dealt with in this industry. He thoroughly explained the options and I didn't feel pressured whatsoever. Truly a master of his craft.

They didn't show up, I gave them all day to make it to my home. The receptionist didnt even know my name, they were only pulling my appt up by an address instead of my name. Horrible customer service, lack of attention to detail and personable customer service. They called me at 3:47 and asked whether or not my home had a warranty which i do not know why this is any of their concern if the home has a warranty or not when all i scheduled was a service. They received a loan from the government to cover their operational expenses so COVID 19 is just a crutch if thats what they are going to blame for their technician not showing up to my home. I would look elsewhere, for the sole reason of lack of personable skills from their service receptionists. They didnt even know my name. Fucking ridiculous when they want you to spend upwards of 4k dollars for systems they install. I dont see this company surviving the pandemic.

We are very disappointed of our service . Because my mom had pay for a battery for the AC unit outside that didn't had buy it . We needed a new one it was a waste of 500.00 . Now we a new a/c the whole thing. The guy didn't tells us that the outside unit was no good and didn't tells us that it needed freon. So now we are out of a/c for the rest of the summer. And they took 500.00 from us for a battery that we didn't need .
But I guess we will here from them. I hope they will read this and maybe remember are number and gaves a call. It's sad that we lost 500.00.we don't know if he really put the battery on or not .Very disappointed! Do they really read this I hope so.

I called to have a water heater replaced in my home. They were able to give me an appointment in 3-4 days. The workers arrived on time, masked, introduced themselves and began taking a "history". The lead technician, Christopher was polite, informative and was able to give me an estimate within 15-20 minutes. Our old water heater is easily accessible in the garage. I already purchased a new heater and had it there in the garage as well. Christopher stated there were several options on installation/ service plans etc. I asked him for the least costly and he quoted me $2,400 as the "cost-cutter" (his words) option. $2,400 to install a $400 appliance I had already bought on my own. He stated he have to mount the expansion tank (already installed) a new circuit breaker box (heater already own its own breaker). Understand the $2,400 did not even include the appliance itself. I told him this seemed excessive, all I wanted was the heater replaced. He asked me how much I expected to pay and told him $900-$1000. Once I told him that, he asked how I would be paying for the $29 estimate fee. I thanked him, paid him, he left quickly with barely a word spoken there after. After about an hour of searching, I found the phone number of a local self-employed licensed plumber I had used about 3 years ago. He remembered me and my wife and agreed to come over that day. He arrived about 3 hours later, installed the water heater in about 3 hours. He charged me $280. We were so grateful we gave him a 20% "tip", paying him $350. I won't ever be calling these guys again, and I'll let any one I know with plumbing issues, my experience with them.
