I was told that I needed a new floor heater because they couldn't turn my pilot light on. This would have cost me at least $1,000.00. Johnston came out and had it cleaned,lit and working within an hour. Total cost $190.00.

I have worked with many plumbers and Johnston Gas Furnace Company is my go to one for 2018! My tenants furnace went out right before Christmas. I had it worked on December 2016 and it was not a smooth experience with the previous company. Hence- I spent $600 only to deal with the same issue as soon as the heater was needed a year later.

It is an older house with a floor furnace. I looked on yelp and called 4 companies. Johnston was top notch professional and came out and provided an accurate analysis, estimate and completed the job within 48 hours.

Patricia and Alice helped me over the phone and were very nice. Bryan was the technician that came out and did the BEST JOB ever!

Look no further! Knowledgeable, friendly , fair and honest company. The gas company tested our wall heater and found carbon monoxide present. Called several gas furnace companies. Those companies gave estimates between $2,200 to $4,800 to remove and replace the wall heater. Then I called Johnston. Kirk was THE ONLY ONE to check the cause of the carbon monoxide. He found an obstruction on the vent. The obstruction was cleared and the next day his tech performed a carbon monoxide text - ALL CLEAR. Once that test was fine he did a few tweets to the heater and was done. I can't give enough praise to this company!

They are the best. I renovate homes and this is who I am calling for anything HVAC related from now on. Friendly, knowledgable and fast. I had some issues with an antique gas floor furnace that was leaking gas and burners not lighting. Talked on phone and Debbie knew exactly what I was talking about, familiar with the model of furnace and sent someone out the next day. Dimas showed up was extremely nice, crawled around in the crawlspace, fixed and replaced broken element. Two thumbs way up!

We bought our old 'Hollywood bungalow' about 14 years ago, everything in it was old and a bit beaten up. Over the years we've had to call these guys out for various wear and tear troubles with our AC unit and I have to say from the sweet lady who answers the phone, yep you heard right, she actually answers the phone, to the guys that come out and fix the problem they are the most professional, polite, thoughtful and just all round lovely people.
We had a guy come out over the weekend from another company who tried to sell us all kinds of crap and really wanted to install a whole new unit. Luckily we waited until Johnson could come over, the guy just left, and he just replaced the capacitor, cheap as chips. They are the best, no question.

Had these guys come out on very short notice to do a new home inspection. The inspection was thorough and quick, and the report was delivered professionally with both good and bad news, as well as a number of suggestions for how to address some of the problems at the best cost. We bought the home, but haven't gotten around to the recommended repairs, but when we do, we'll be calling Johnston Gas Furnace Co. for sure!

We sent them the information on our system, and they gave us a very reasonably priced quote compared to competitors. They didn't try to upsell us at the time of the repair.

Old style floor heater and while I can fix ""anything"" I had no desire to blow my mothers house up by making a simple mistake. Even the Gas Company said no so I called Johnson.
Alice was kind and understanding but they were booked two weeks solid and gave me a date and time. Good for me!
A week later they got a cancellation and could move it all up. I was out of town so nope!
On the scheduled date it was supposed to be 8:30 - 10:00am. He was in front at 7:45.
I know enough to be dangerous and explained all the ""tests"" I had done including the ones done by flat thieves trying to take advantage of my mother.
""OK, lets see.I'm betting your right BUT it could be the gas valve. I'll test it all.""
In an hour the old 1930 heater was running like a champ again. No leaks or carbon monoxide and they DO TEST for that! As suspected. thermo coupling went bad.
I will not quote paid price as they change BUT one estimate was $1500.00! It was under $300 total

I have nothing but great things to say for this company. They were even willing to come over the hill to help me with an a/c-heating issues. Others had said replacement was required. Johnston was able to repair, saving me a lot of money. Thank you!
