y.It is a privilege to write this review. My building is over 50 years old and recently we had a problem with an original gravity furnace. By some act of God, I discovered an old tag on the side of the furnace which read built by, Johnston Gas and Furnace Company. Being desperate and anxious, I wanted to see if there was any information on them. Imagine my shock and delight when I discovered they were still in business - family owned! I phoned and spoke with Alice to whom I relayed the story and she chuckled. Terrific lady who scheduled Brian (30+ years with company) to stop by. I hit Lotto and cannot more genuinely recommend a more reliable, honest and professional team. I was so upset as many phone inquiries regarding our old furnaces were met with you probably should think of forced air heating. I had never experienced one day of problem with this Johnston unit and it was not really a problem but did need some parts changed. Brian knows his stuff alright and from the moment he showed up, I knew we were in good, capable hands. Now we are warm and happy. Thanks, Johnston.

This business is great. From the woman who does the scheduling to the repair man sent to do the job. The repair man was so professional and knowledgeable it took him no time at all to diagnose our problem and to make the repairs. I am absolutely thrilled with the service I received from Johnston and the crew they sent, Bryan and Damian. I called yesterday afternoon and they came over within a couple of hours. When Bryan looked at our unit he gave me a few different options in different price ranges as possible solutions explaining various possible problems including leaks. We were able to make an educated decision knowing that nothing is guaranteed.

Within a few hours our until stopped working. Thank goodness it was a cool evening so I survived with the windows open. The next morning I called to inform them it wasn't working. The office woman said they would be back to me around 3:00 in the afternoon. To my surprise they arrived first thing in the morning and discovered that I had just blown a fuse. They didn't even charge me for coming back even though I could have figured that out myself, if I knew what I was doing

I live in a Burbank apartment. Kurt, the owner came by to fix my central A/C through my landlord. Had two problems, one, had a part hanging into the fan of the outside cooling coils. Johnston's Gas Furnace Company is by far the best central air/heat servicing I have ever experienced. They far exceed any comparison to other companies that I have used. My air went out over the weekend when the temps were around 100 degrees. We were miserable. I called Johnston's number on Sunday (knowing that they were not open) and left a message on their voice mail. I said that I knew that they were most likely backed up with service requests with the sweltering heat. These days it is hard to get good service anywhere, but I used Johnston's before and really liked my first experience so I called them back again. I got a call from a wonderful lady in the office at 8:00am this morning (Monday) and she told me that someone would be out within the hour. Sure enough Bryan showed up in less than an hour and had the unit repaired within 30 minutes including a trip to get the part. I am very thankful that good service still exists. I recommend that anyone who is looking for the most honest company around with the most reasonable prices, call Johnston's! Thank you again Bryan! Thank you Johnston's!

Great on time service. Another company told me the floor furnace was junk and should be replaced--$2,000. Johnston guys came out (Brian) did a thorough inspection of the unit and got it running with no problems. Saved me big time. highly recommend!
