I had a blockage in my kitchen drain. Another local plumber who we have worked with several times heartily recommended Rick to do the next step of sending a camera down the pipe. Rick was super courteous over text to set up a day. He arrived ten minutes before our appointment! Best part is he drained and snaked the ptrap first and successfully cleared the block!! His excellence and efficiency has saved us a lot of resources and anxiety. I highly recommend his services!

Rick, the owner, was referred to me by another plumber who was unable to come out on the day I called. We had an emergency situation and our gas was turned off by the Gas Company. I called Rick and he and his two sons came to the house, diagnosed the problem, went to purchase the materials needed, and fixed it all in a matter of a few hours. I can't even begin to say how impressed I was with their work. Rick has been in the business for quite some time and is very knowledgeable. His work is top-notch and very reasonable. I would not hesitate to call him for any plumbing needs. If I could give hime 10 stars, I would!

An outstanding plumber. Rick did a great job replacing leaking gas pipes and two valves on a house on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. He came out and gave a free estimate after spending a long time examining where the gas leak was coming from by crawling under the house. Rick even determined that the guy from the gas company made an error on where the rusted pipe was going.
The price was very reasonable and was much lower than what was quoted by another plumber that didn't even look under the house.
Rick was able to start work the next morning at 7 am, and showed up right on time.
I highly recommend Rick at Johnson's Plumbing.

My Rheem water heater broke down this week and I started calling places in a panic. The night prior to me calling Rick, I had spoken with a big corporate-y plumber who told me that he could repair my water heater for $400 but that it would be in my best interests to install a new water heater for $1300. Something didn't smell right about that, so I called around a bit more. Johnson's Plumbing came highly recommended from another plumber who was fully booked.
Rick, the main guy, was able to repair my water heater later the same day I called him. He was very responsive, texted when he was on his way, and arrived on time. Rick steered me away from the more expensive option (replacing the water heater), and instead repaired it for less than half the price I was quoted by the corporate plumber. Rick brought his son, who works with him, and they did an excellent job. They were friendly, professional, quick, and most importantly: (1) skilled, and (2) honest. I feel like there are so many scam plumbers out there (especially the big corporate plumbers), so meeting Rick and his son was a breath of fresh air. I will continue to call Johnson's Plumbing for all my plumbing issues. Support talented local family-owned businesses!

I was originally referred to Rick by another Plumber that was unavailable. Rick was super accommodating and very professional. I have since had to call him a 2nd time to snake our kitchen sink and he was just as nice and professional. He really does start to feel like part of the family.
