Mike has been doing work for me for many years. He's always up front with his charges and keeps me informed about any changes there might be. His sons are always friendly and his brother is darn sharp to. Only thing I find is a fault of my own thinking how a job should be done. Better off to tell him what you want and let him do it. Trying to be help always costs me more money. I would highly recommend Mike & Sons for any plumbing job.

I had a great experience with Mike Johnson, on 3 different jobs in fact. He was recommended by a gentleman that has done work for us for years. I don't write reviews this is only my second one but I felt I should after reading the other one. I called him on an upstairs water heater needing to be replaced and some fittings. He got on it in a timely manner, very professional with a fair price. Have had no problems with it, been about 3 years. Second job Mike talked with me two times at my house , free no issues, gave me estimate. His employees Edwin and Philip replaced the main water pipe from alley to my house. Had to cut into concrete. Kept a clean line through, i appreciated that. Again have had no problems and was done in timely manner. Third job was pretty big, Edwin and Philip came and put in new pipe from alley, new shut off valves for hot n cold. Replaced at least 6 corroded pipes running length of under house , and more. Also went through the building and made sure each toilet, shower and sinks were running well. I was able to text Mike and let him know what was going on, that was nice. I will hire his company again in the future.

I do not recommend Johnson & Son's Plumbing. Use someone else!! The owner, Mike Johnson, came to my home to try and resolve the problem, which was a faucet handle that could not be removed from the sink. He tried to remove it and could not, so he didn't do any work towards completing the job, he only diagnosed what needed to be done when he came back the next time. I talked to him on the phone and he didn't mention to me that he would be charging me 1 hour ($85) for his time in which he made no actual progress and only assessed what needed to be done. He proceeds to tell me that if I'm there when he comes back the next time that he will not need to send two workers to do the job and that will save me some money, I would just need to be there to lend a hand, hold something if needed. I took the morning off of work in order to be there - like he told me. Two workers show up at my door and proceed to start assessing the situation. They told me that Mike sent them with drill bits in order to drill out the faucet handle that was stuck. They never used the drill bits and were able to get it removed by just removing the nut. I get the bill and I've now been charged for 4 hours of labor. 1 hour for Mike to come over and ""assess"" what his workers went ahead and re-assessed upon arrival. And had I known that I was going to be charged for two workers, I wouldn't have taken the morning off work to ""lend a hand"". I could have left the house to a family member who is retired to just simply let them in and out. Poor communicators and a total rip off!! Use anyone besides them!!
