I used Johnson Plumbing about 15 years ago and was very pleased with everything. Very polite, professional, and great price. Everything you could want. This experience was just the opposite of that.

We were doing reno to our basement and had them replace a shower valve, which we provided. We also gave them the tub spout we were going to use so they could make sure the copper tub spout line was the right length.

They had to get under our house (full height, not a crawl space, with a doorway under the deck behind the house) to access the shut-off valve, then left the door wide open when they left. I never checked it until almost 2 months later when I noticed how much our furnace was running when temps got down to the mid 30s at night. Thanks to them, we could have very easily had frozen pipes under the house if I hadn't checked when I did.

In less than an hour, they installed the shower valve along with about 4 feet of PEX tubing, 18 inches of copper tubing without checking the length for the tub spout line, left our door open to the elements, and charged my wife $500 (actually $550, but they gave her a 10% discount). About the only good thing I can say about this experience is that the shower valve works (that's why they got 2 stars instead of 1). Everything else was sloppy and unprofessional. Because of my previous experience with Johnson Plumbing, I made this appointment without getting a quote from them or shopping around for plumbers. Never again.

I had a clogged drain and a broken garbage disposal. I called around 8:45 a.m. and there was someone at my door to fix it by 10:30 a.m. They gave me a quick fix and even gave me a tool to help fix if the problem reoccurs. Rates are good and service is fantastic.

Johnson has been to my house this year. In January they had to.install a new water line from the meter to house. But they went above and beyond to install a shutoff valve just inside the crawl space door. Last week they installed a sump pump behind my house to prevent flooding - and it's already been used! Highly recommend to anyone needing help with plumbing.

I was experiencing block pipes...they came out, put a snake down my sink drain and said their was not any blockage...two days later continued blockage, I called again...this employee said I need plumbing underneath kitchen sink replaced and an air vent. I said I already have an air vent and he totally ignored me. Charged me for a small valve under the sink and left...Pipes still blocked and I have already paid them for work they did not accomplish. I would not reccommend this company to anyone having plumbing problems. And, they are way overpriced!

I accidentally flushed a plastic item down my toilet and had visions of a high bill since it was also a Saturday. Luckily, the gentleman was able to snake it loose and then flush it out. He was very nice and professional and took the time to explain what had happened and how he was going to fix it. The price was very reasonable and I am very satisfied with his work. We have used Johnson Plumbing several times and have never been unhappy with their work!

Johnson Plumbing is overpriced. I called them, told them what needed to be fixed and was quoted a price range for the worst case scenario. The repair guy showed up, had very little work to do, and quoted me almost twice what they had quoted me originally. I had to have the work done that day, so I paid, but I will never use them again. They are very polite on the phone, but one has to be polite when lieing about the price of services. Get quotes from someone else. They will try to overcharge you.
