I was referred to Johnson Appliance by Select Home Warranty and had the worst experience ever. Mr Greg Johnson said he was the owner of the company came to diagnose my dishwasher and ice maker on September 9 where I had a co-pay of 120.00 which I gave Mr. Johnson in cash. my claim was approved by SHW and the parts were ordered by Mr. Johnson for repairs to be completed on Sept 16 since then Mr. Johnson sent me an email requesting 100.00 for half of the uncovered fees which I sent Today is September 18, I'm unable to reached Mr. Johnson and by phone and no services have not been completed to this date. Mr. Johnson has disappeared with 220.00 and no one can reach him.
Definitely a SCAMMER. I tried to support this business and waited a month before leaving this review. But he is not a person of high moral and ethical standards. Greg did some work, he snaked the sink, and ""fixed"" the refrigerator, but ultimately everything he ""fixed"" was still broke. Like the other customers he also ghosted us and stopped answering our phone calls.
Anya U.DON'T BE SCAMMED! Came for a diagnostic yesterday and now refusing to answer messages or calls. Will be reposting to the local authorities and Better Business Bureau if no response by tomorrow!
I needed to have some wooden tiles reinstalled on my balcony. Although handyman services did not seem to be the primary service offered by Johnson Appliance Services, Greg responded to my request and said that he would take a look. I made an an appointment for a Saturday at 11:00 am, but Greg was not there at the appointed time. I called him at 11:20 am. He didn't answer, and I could not leave a voice mail message because his mail box was full. So, in a final effort to reach him, I sent him a text message. I waited all day but I never heard back. Based upon my experience, he is neither dependable nor reliable, and I therefore cannot recommend his services.

Lauren G.I've never been the FIRST person to write a review but I am happy to do it for Johnson Appliance Services. Here is the story. I have a 1 1/2 year old Samsung dryer that suddenly started making a grinding noise. I called the Samsung customer service line and they contracted the work out to Home Service Network (AVOID AT ALL COSTS). Basically, I sent up an appointment a week ago and they didn't show up or try to rectify my issue. I was so frustrated I hopped on Yelp to try and find anyone who could come look at my dryer which has been having an issue for about 2 weeks.
I found Johnson Appliance Services and was skeptical because the Yelp page had no reviews. I called and Greg picked up the phone and was extremely empathetic to my situation and found a way to squeeze me in SAME DAY to diagnose my issue and provide a recommendation. Greg is extremely knowledgeable and made sure to walk me through why he was recommending certain remedies and the importance in the grand scheme of being a newish home owner. The appointment was thorough and not rushed. Greg's demeanor was pleasant, professional, and friendly. Between his professionalism, knowledge, and friendly demeanor I would easily recommend his services. So, if you'd read this far you're probably thinking, ""this is his family member or something."" I'm absolutely not related to him lol but I make it a point to commend amazing experiences. If you work with Greg in any capacity be sure to leave him kudos! T
