The sewer backed up this morning. We called and from the time the call went out to when they were at the door was less than 2 hours! Impressive!! Ruben is an excellent plumber, a very kind and respectful person, and took time to explain how these things may happen with the way our pipes are laid out. I was extremely satisfied and I plan to recommend them to all of my family and friends. We were quoted a price and because nothing else was found wrong, that was the price we paid. I feel that they are VERY honest people. It's hard to find people you can trust! They have my future business should I ever need them again!!! I'm just super happy with the entire experience with them (not the part before they came!!!)!

I rarely write reviews unless I feel a strong sense to share a positive experience with others, and that's the situation I find myself in today. I am a new home owner, and while I consider myself fairly saavy with many tasks, plumbing is not something I particularly strong at. Given that, when my drain started backing up at 6 pm on a Sunday night, things were not looking good. After frantically trying to fix the problem myself, I knew that I needed a professional, and so I set out to google. John's was the third or fourth result that came up, but for some reason, they were my first call.

By this time it was 9 p.m. o'clock on Sunday. I called the number, spoke to a women and was told I would get a call back within a few minutes. I did, and the guy on the phone was helpful and friendly. He asked if I could manage without running water until the next day. I hesitantly said yes, especially after he told me it would be considerably cheaper for me. He warned me that they had been very busy the last few days and that they had some jobs in the morning, but even in the face of a nasty storm, someone would be over around lunchtime (and they'd call and give me a heads up).

Well, the next day, someone called exactly when I was told they would. He told me he'd be there as soon as he could, but driving was difficult, which made sense. Nonethless, Eddie showed up just as promised. He immediately diagnosed the problem and started working. He couldn't find the cleanout that he wanted, but a little troubleshooting and we were well underway. The entire process was around an hour, which was within the 1 hour of labor that came with the flat fee.

Any plumber can clear a drain, but it takes a good businessman to understand that at the very least, this is an annoying time for someone, and at the most, this can create financial hardship. Eddie was great at education, and he spent the whole time chatting with me, giving me tips and pointers about things not to do, things to look out for etc. All in all, it was $170 extremely well spent.

I'm not particularly fond of brand loyalty, but I know that next time I have a plumbing issue, John's will be my first and hopefully only call.

I called in on Monday morning for a clogged sewer drain. They quoted more a flat fee and had someone available instantly. They were there for about 3 hrs, replaced one part in addition to clearing the sewer line. The party cost a little extra. The service tech was curtious and agreat help. All in all, money well spent. John's Sewer and Drain were excellent, excellent, excellent. It was great to work with such a great company with great values. 100% would recommend them.

We thought we had a line problem. They came the same day we called. Then, when became clear it wasn't a line problem and we needed to call an appliance repairperson, our technician didn't charge us at all for the 30 min service call. Once we realized it was our dishwasher and our tech had left, he came back a few minutes later because he thought of something small that might help us fix the problem, even though it wasn't the drain. He was so awesome.

We've been given inflated, outrageous invoices from other repair companies in South Minneapolis--partially, I think because as the person who works from home and meets them, they like to take advantage because I'm a woman. We would have been happy to pay for his time, so it was great to get a fair price and even more awesome that we didn't get charged at all.

Unable to shower or use toilet. Called at 7:23 am, and within an HOUR on the SAME DAY I CALLED, Phil (Super Plumber!!) was here. I was quoted a price, and charged the amount quoted. Plus I got a 6 month guarantee - if I'm plugged again within 6 months, gratis service. Phil was knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. I would call them again in a heartbeat! Don't even waste your time calling anyone else.

Quick service, and great work.

I called to get a bathroom sink drain cleared. They were out about 90 minutes later, and got the job done. I had them clear a second drain proactively (it wasn't fully clogged yet, but it has given me trouble). Nothing more I could ask for.

These guys were great. Needed help unplugging a drain caused and they replied quickly even though it was after hours. Kris arrived quickly and was super professional. He fixed the drain quickly and even helped me with some other plumbing problems. Price was reasonable. This is a good as it gets.

There was a backup in my drain that was causing the water from my kitchen sink, dishwasher and washing machine to fill up my overflow sink in my basement. After my own failed attempts to snake the drain I gave up and decided to call a plumber before I made a big mess of things. I called John's yesterday at 4pm and they were here at 9am this morning. The gentleman who cleaned my drain was named Kris and was very friendly and professional. He was in and out within 40 minutes. He also gave me some great advice for other general plumbing issues and main cleaning/maintenance. So all around fantastic service and professionalism, I will definitely be calling these guys again when I need my main cleaned out. Also, these guys were the cheapest legitimate drain cleaning company that I could find - $99!

As a new homeowner, I wanted a professional to inspect our sewer lines so we didn't have any nasty surprises. John's Sewer came highly recommended from several people and they were absolute pros. They were quick and clean! I would definitely use them again for any future issues or just for regular maintenance.

Very good service, called their answering services on Saturday morning, Nate called me back in 5 minutes and came out in the afternoon. Very nice guy who took care of the problem quickly and was very professional. Took care to put tire covers and shoe covers on so he and the machine he used would not get the floor dirty or damage anything. I'll use them again if we have a problem and would recommend calling them if you have one.
