John Mahood's assistant does great work. Mr. Mahood's bookkeeping is pitiful. It took over a month to receive a bill that had errors on it. When I called Mr. Mahood to discuss being billed for materials that were not installed expecting the material cost to be subtracted from the total amount, his response was, ""IT DOESN'T MATTER!"". Nearly a month later another bill was received with an itemized material list from his supplier. The material cost was lower than the first bill. (This should have lowered the material cost entry on his bill. It did not.) A photocopy of the original bill was included with changes to the number of parts and changes to the descriptions. The labor charge on the original bill did not show how many hours were charged. On this revised bill the total material cost and the total labor cost did not change. They had merely written increased hours worked at a certain dollar amount. In my opinion, this practice is unscrupulous and certainly unethical!
I will pay this bill with this caveat.
""One unsatisfied customer will tell 10 people about their experience"".
I WILL NOT STOP AT TEN!

I've used John for years and he does great work for a reasonable price. Him and his guys are very knowledgeable and prompt. I highly recommend. Not sure who the person that left the negative review was using but it wasn't John.

VERY professional - he came out right away to resolve my issue and told me everything that he was doing. He even removed his shoes before coming into our house. He cleaned up after himself and gave me advice on other plumbing projects I am trying to tackle. He drives a white van that says John's Plumbing on it, so not sure what the other review is talking about. He had all the tools and everything that he needed to fix it without having to go anywhere, he did a great job!

John and his apprentice Cody do professional work. They just replaced my hot water heater for a fair price and even installed it on a water pan to allow the water to better drain should this one ever fail. Almost as important as the work is the fact that they answer their phone, come at the promised time or let you know if they are running behind. Before John, we tried another plumber who failed to show up as promised which left us stranded with no hot water all day yesterday and night.

I am very disappointed I couldn't rate this zero stars !!!

I Will NEVER USE AGAIN. After asking if the workers normally cleaned up after completing a job I was told by the owner that ""the place wasn't too clean to begin with in the first place"".

(We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel)

After telling him I would be leaving a negative review he yelled ""screw you"" as he walked across my front yard to his big black truck. Very unprofessional I plan to tell everyone Who asks never to use this company for any type of services!
