Ok, this is how everything went down. I call him for a faucet repair and after everything was said and done, a date was set for him to come to my house. After I hung up  I thought about it for a moment because he gave some attitude over the conversation, If I got this attitude through the phone, I can not imaging how he is going to be in person, so I sent him a text letting him know that my faucet was working again, that I no longer need his services ( a small lie not to hurt his feeling) guess what? he replies back with a sarcastic comment. Anyway, just because this happened to me doesn't mean will happen to you, I just want to share my experience with this plumber.

John Landy came to my house to do an unclog to my toilet. He was able to accomplish this as would any person designating himself to be a professional plumber. After the job was completed, I requested further plumbing work from him to be done on the next day. He agreed to return the next day but did not give a price for the job. In a subsequent telephone conversation later that evening, I determined that his price for the job was too high for me and told him not to come. He then sent me an email implying that I was cheap and would not provide me with a receipt for the cash payment I made to him for the original job, nor would he refund to me the $4.00 overpayment I gave him (he had no change) which he was supposed to refund when he finished the second job. Is that any way to run a business? I do NOT recommend him.

I don't get the two bad reviews. John came on a Sunday morning to look at a job, he was friendly and knowledgeable. I left him my key, he let himself in and did a fantastic job. He locked up and left the place neat. You get what you pay for and if you want to go cheap that's exactly what you will get. I recommend John, he will get the job done correctly.

He is extremely unprofessional we spoke through an app he told me to call him I called he answered I said hello this is so-and-so my full name he asked me who I was and i said I believe we just and spoke on the app he said i have some questions for you I said okay ask questions and he said word for """"if you're going to be rude I'm not going to do the job and hung up"""" I had an even tone I didn't have an attitude I have no idea what his problem was but avoided if you can !! I wish I could upload the convo first of all we talking about a toilet in a another man's home that I'm willing to pay you to replace the porclin is pealing from what it the inside of a toilet it's clearly been that way for years it's sure as hell been cleaned once again showing your a really bad businessman ..good luck with life

i called John for a Leakey bathtub for a rental property, he was there for about 45 min to an hour and charged me $250.00 he told me the issue is that the calking around the bathtub was bad, i told him that his price does not make any sense but i will pay in full since he promised me the issue was fixed and if i have a issue he stays behind his work and will come again if there is an issue, and there was an issue he came and couldn't find the problem, and wanted to charge me $95.00 for a service call, i told him hack no, he also called me from a different number a few times after in middle of the night telling me in a voice mail ""Die you Mother F***er"" i will dispute the 250.00 from him as well, do not use him, he is not safe to be around people and will rip you off
