As a result of wind damage, a significant leak developed around a dual fireplace exhaust termination on my roof. John's response to my posting was rapid. He scheduled an inspection on Sunday and brought a repair part today, Monday......a holiday weekend. Unable to find the exact repair part, he on the job modified one that was available to prevent further leakage.
His charges were reasonable as he demonstrated a determination for promptly and properly fixing the problem.

John answered my request the same day I sent it to Yelp. We arranged for him to evaluate a leak from the roof within 2 days. He was timely, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. The work was perfect and he provided before/after photos and explained them well -- definitely a 5-star experience.

I have attempted to reach our usual roofing company since December 1st to no avail. I remembered Yelp Projects and decided to try a Yelp recommendation. John's Helping Hand was great. We originally called him to only fix an area on our roof before the storm hit as we had some damaged tiles. He not only fixed the tiles, but he found several cracked tiles that he filled in and repaired. In addition to that, I asked him about fixing a downstairs closet that the shelving and clothes rod had pulled away from the wall. John fixed that for us a well. He was happy to do the extra work and professional in answering our questions. He gave us a timely response to our service request too, as in 1 day! Absolutely unheard of nowadays. John arrived early to our appointment too. His pricing is competitive. I would use John again when we have roof or handyman needs. 5 Stars.

We had a monster storm come through with high winds and heavy rain that caused three windows to start leaking. We called John at 9am, he called us right back and headed over to help. He was here by 12pm and had everything needed to complete the job and was fixed by 1pm. He is reasonably priced, considering we live quite a bit out of town and always have to figure in trip cost, supplies and time. Very professional.

We needed our workshop and shed roofs completely redone, as they both were leaking, rendering those rooms useless to us. We requested a quote from John late in 2023. He got us the quote, but circumstances changed for us so we could no longer afford to fix the roofs. We came back to him 8 months later with our funds secured, and he got back to us very quickly. He even agreed to honor the previous quote. He was communicative about the materials pricing as well as his schedule for re-doing the roofs. He completed the job thoroughly, and in the middle of an intense heat wave. We will see how the roofs hold up in the winter time, but based on the work ethic and communication from John, I will definitely be using his services again.

Our old (like 30 years old!) skylight finally started to leak. Contacted John and he responded promptly. Came out the next day, did his inspection and gave us a quote that we found very reasonable. He helped us via text to order the correct items at Home Depot on a Friday, he picked it up and was back on Monday to do the installation. John worked steadily and was done in less than four hours. We are so pleased with our new skylight! And he is a very nice guy too!

UPDATING MY 1ST REVIEW on 1/28/24

John of John's Helping Hand, did come to my house after this last snow storm on 2/4/24. He did a Super job of removing the Snow. I can't Thank them enough for their caring and Helpful Assistance. Snow Storms always make you nervous and distracted, as to how long it will snow and how deep it will get.
They Totally eased my mind.
