Here is my two cents and why you should start your search for plumbing services elsewhere. First red flag was when I called for an estimate on a water softener install was told that they don't schedule estimates that they would call me same day or the day before. Aren't I the customer? Why do I have to work around your schedule? Second red flag was they called to see if I was available the following morning but I wasn't and would need something next week. They said ok and called back a couple of days later asking if I was still interested in an estimate. I said yes and what do you know suddenly they could schedule something. Weird right? So I schedule for Friday morning between 8am-10am. It was what they had available so I took it and rearranged my schedule. Day of estimate comes and I wait until about 10am and no one shows or calls. So I call Johnny's plumbing and they put me on hold numerous times, clearly unorganized and lost about the days workload. A different woman gets on the phone and explains that the owner took the estimate sheet and went to Oakland for a remodel job. Hey guess what? I don't live in Oakland and from the sounds of it nobody is coming out to provide me an estimate. What a waste of a my time to which there was no apology or effort to make it right for me. Tried to give you my business Johnny but apparently you had more important jobs to work. I will go with a competitor of yours and share my experience with anyone I can.

Horrible customer service. The lady was very rude and gave attitude like she hated or job, or her life in general. Said could get appointment for that day then said they had other calls and couldn't come out until the following day. Ok fine, but don't speak to me like I'm an idiot. Would NOT recommend. If you're 24/7 should always have someone on call or rotating shifts otherwise are you really 24/7?

$200 bid turned into $1200 the day job was to start. While $200 seemed kinda low I was expecting a few hundred $$$ up sell once work started. Lol. Didn't even get to that point. Phone call saying $1200 and it was my fault I misunderstood ""verbal"" bid. They even told me the estimator messed up. Hmm. Verbal contract in CA?? Spoke with owner who told me ""we aren't hurting for business $1200 or nothing"". Nothing it is. Very unprofessional.

Very disappointed with shoddy work. Customer service is non existent. Didn't even offer apology for having to come back a day later to correct their own mistake. Plenty of other plumbers to call...

I wouldn't recommend Johnnie's Plumbing to my worst enemy!! I had a clogged drain in my bathroom they came out used a snake got it stuck in my septic tank and couldn't get it out then wanted to charge me another thousand to go back in and cut into the pipe through the floor to retrieve it and find their snake. Thankfully I called out a different plumber who not only retrieved their snake but fixed the problem for 1/4 of what they wanted.

So much for trying to support a small town local business. I don't even know where to begin other than the fact that their receptionist Elisa (sp?) is the rudest woman I've ever dealt with as a customer.

After being given an 8am-12pm appointment window we were told that someone should be over to replace our faucet around 10am, but then got pushed out further due to an earlier job that was taking longer. Fine, but if that's the case and we're moving our schedule around and trying to get an idea of when we can expect the plumber, then don't get upset if we're ""calling every 30 minutes"" as she so rudely accused us.

Between the rude receptionist, waiting around until 3:30 and still no plumber, and the owner's lack of motivation to do anything to help returning customers, we decided to cancel the appointment and find another plumber.

Every time we spoke with this woman it was nothing but attitude and total lack of respect for the customer. I asked what ever happened to ""the customer is always right"" and she replied that she had been ""dealing with"" my husband and ""his tone"" all day (I'm the angry wife writing this from his account). Can't believe the nerve!! She wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise as she was yelling over me. I ended up yelling into the phone, ""ELISA!! This is why we're taking our business elsewhere!"" and I hung up. Yes, she was still yelling on the other end. Crazy. If I owned this business she would've be gone a long time ago.

We've had Johnny's out for several different issues now. The first was after our old plumber couldn't fix something. He made some expensive recommendations. We called Johnny's out on a Saturday for a second opinion. They had the problem diagnosed (differently), fixed, and at a much lower cost than we were originally quoted. Needless to say we have a new plumber.
