Called to get a new gas log connected for our gas fireplace. I called around and also emailed some top ranked plumbers from Yahoo and did not receive any responses for over 5 days. The lady who answered the phone was so pleasant. Though she explained that the $95 was the fee for estimate, which will be credited towards the service, I was sold. Johnny texted me throughout the day to inform me of his status. He had 2 plumbers who called in sick that day so was running late. He offered to reschedule, but I begged him to stop by even late because I had taken time off from work. He arrived at 6:40pm (only the boss would!!) and took care of the hookup; tested the gas line for safety; explained/demonstrated the on/off process; cleaned up everything and left. Was so impressed with the professionalism! Will certainly keep his info! Thank you very much!!

Went to Johnny initially because I had read good reviews, despite the warnings about higher cost.

I live in a condo and needed repairs that involved shutting off the water to my unit. However, this involves shutting off water to other units. In order to coordinate Johnny's visit, I also had to find a window that worked for my neighbors during which their water would be shut off as well. Johnny quoted me 2 hours for the job, so to be safe, I figured 3 hours would do the trick.

First appointment: Plumber shows up at the end of the scheduled window. No work gets done.

Second appointment: Spoke with the dispatcher and made her repeat that the plumber needs to arrive at the beginning of the scheduled window (not anytime within the 3 hours, like a cable company). She says she understands. Plumber shows up 2 hours and 15 minutes late. No work gets done.

Also, never spoke to a live person on my first call. Always had to wait for a call back, even when calling to inquire as to why the plumber was late. Needless to say, they lost my business and any recommendation.

I had had Johnny come by 3 times since the past year and a half to repair a bust water pipe in the garage, choked drain in kitchen and water leakage under the bathroom etc. and each time he has excelled himself. A very straightforward simple man of few words and complete action. His work and prices are excellent and I highly recommend him for all kinds of plumbing issues. He makes time for you always!!!!!

We called Johnny late this afternoon and he's already been here, solved our problem, and charged us ONLY what he quoted (even though he did more work and spent more time). He was amazing and didn't try to UPSELL like the last plumber who was here. We couldn't be happier -- it's nice to have someone we can trust and will only be calling Johnny from here on out! I have been using Johnny Carrillo and also referring Johnny to clients for 10 years now, and will continue to do so. Johnny is a hands-on, well experienced full-scale plumbing service, who cares a lot about getting the job done right, in a timely fashion, for a fair price. He also responds fast to inquires. He can do full re-pipes, full sewer line replacements and the simple stuff, like snaking a sink drain. I highly recommend Johnny.

Horrible service....
They charged me $95 for plumbing even though it took them for only 30 mins and did a half ass job.
I had to call them the next day to complain and schedule an appointment to have them come to finish the rest.
And the day came.... The plumber was late for the appointment so I couldn't let him do the job because I had to leave.
He finally came a week after and charged me a ridiculous amount for a part for a toilet.
Never again.... I'm just happy I don't have to deal with them anymore.

These guys both Victor and Johnny are not just idiots they are incompetent.

Victor showed up to fix my shower, then after 2 hours decided it was a faulty part that needed to be replaced. No one got back to me, now remember my shower isn't working and I don't have a bath, and I can't run to a neighbors house to shower. When I check in with them about the part I hear it is a special order part that takes 2 weeks. It is expensive so Johnny now has to come back out and make his diagnosis before the part gets ordered that I hear will take 2 weeks. Johnny stiffs me the first appointment when I took off work. Then does show on Saturday, so now I am spending my Saturday waiting for him. It's now 1 week with no shower. Johnny shows up and takes 1 hour to say the same thing that Victor said. So I express my concern about another 2 weeks without a shower and he assures me that he would first thing monday have the office gal, call around to 2nd source the part and see if it could come sooner.

Well, surprise, surprise.... that never happened. When 2 weeks passed I was then told it would be another week. I am now without a operating shower for 3 weeks... with another week to go, if I still believe them... which I don't. So I ask for the part number to source it myself. My owners jump in on my behalf, and within an hour find it on-line order it with next day delivery. Then they ask Victor to install, since he seems to know nothing about something to install it.

When I tell Victor how enraged I am that this took 4 weeks now, with no shower - he told me I should have just got a bucket and filled it up in the sink and then took it into the shower to soap my self down... I just didn't know what to say... except moron. Then when he was finished installing the part, I asked to inspect his work before I let him go. I discovered that the part was not screwed in properly, it was off set at an angle. And I pointed this out to him he said... well there is calcium build up. I said... then clean off the calcium build up and screw it in properly so it doesn't break (this is a $500 part). He spent another 45 minutes doing the job.

So if this doesn't bother you... hire Johnny's plumbing. I have never... never... seen more incompetency and lack of care in any sort of professional that serves the public.

I called Mr. Carillo on Saturday for an appt. between 9-10am on Monday. Mr. Carillo informed up front that service calls are $89 + the cost for any parts he may use. Gotta admit, I loved knowing my cost estimate BEFORE he arrived. That knowledge makes financial planning so much easier. Mr. Carillo arrived @ 10:15am, apologized profusely for being late and got right to work on my leaky tub faucet.

Mr. Carillo had to buy parts for my Delta fixture at my local Home Depot then return to completely repair the leak but did Everything in about one (1) hour. And I've been a happy, leak-free homeowner ever since. Marvelous work!

Mr. Carillo is a lovely, talented plumber whom I would definitely use again.
