We had a leak in an outdoor spigot, behind the valve. It would leak behind the siding when on and drip when off. So not a huge emergency but not great either.

We called Yerkes because our home builder said they were the original plumber (who therefore installed a spigot that failed in just 3 years after construction).

I called them on a Tuesday, they sent someone on Thursday. I let them know that 100% we would have someone to meet the plumber when he arrived.

I got a call on Thursday that I missed - for some reason my cell phone didn't ring. I called him back 25 minutes later and confirmed he could come anytime, he said he was already on another job and they'd ""put me back on the schedule"". In 25 minutes? When we have 3 people in the house that could have met him when he arrived (and we made that clear)?

I called Four Seasons and they sent someone in 2 hours. Might be a bit more expensive, but worth every penny for the reliability.

Don't work with Yerkes. Just don't.

These guys are the absolute best on the south side. They have a number of extremely good plumbers on staff and they do their absolute best to come out asap. Not super cheap, but some of the most professional contractors I've ever dealt with.

Parents had plumbing issues with the sewer from the house to street for a couple weeks, my dad thought he could fix it but still had issues after spending hours on it. He finally let me call Yerkes and Sons plumbing whom I received a recommendation from my next door neighbor. I called on a Saturday morning left a voicemail message, never expected to get a return call till Monday, to my surprise 7 minutes later I received a call. Plumber Bob was able to come out on a Saturday, he arrived by noon. Bob did fantastic work and solved the issues. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend this company.

We purchased a home and needed an estimate for plumbing repairs/improvements... the buyer gave me limited access so I can get an estimate. One day beteeen 1-4 pm. Yerkes agreed to go out there before 3 PM on that day as long as I paid the service fee which I agreed too. They literally canceled at 3 leaving one hour to find a plumber and the buyer is refusing to give us another extension so now it's either cancel the purchase or buy a home that might have bad plumbing issues ... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OF YERKES PLUMBING.

Had a leakage coming up from my slab in kitchen area called Yerkes Plumbing because some friends of mine said they used them in the past and were pleased. Have to listen to my friends more often. Tony the plumber came out rerouted my hot and cold lines to over head also rerouted lines going to our washer.My Wife and I were so relieved when Tony completed the job and was very courteous which made us at ease. Thankyou Tony we will be using your company in the future.
