Chris came out today to replace my main sump pump as well as my back up sump pump found in my crawl space. He was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. His price was fair. In addition, he noticed my flue pipe, running from the furnace, was cracked and disintegrating, presenting the possibility of carbon monoxide escaping. Thank goodness he noticed that so I was able to have it replaced the same day. Thank you, Chris! I would highly recommend John Yerkes and Sons Plumbing!

I have used Yerkes for over 30 years. John Yerkes was fantastic and very reasonable. I called them for a simple preventive rod out and when he gets here he quotes 350.00 to rod out 30 feet. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. 100.00 DOLLARS A FOOT.

Yerkes plumbing has come out for numerous issues over the years. They are always responsive, so excellent work and I can always be assured that I am getting a fair price for the service! Can't recommend them enough!

We had a leak in an outdoor spigot, behind the valve. It would leak behind the siding when on and drip when off. So not a huge emergency but not great either.

We called Yerkes because our home builder said they were the original plumber (who therefore installed a spigot that failed in just 3 years after construction).

I called them on a Tuesday, they sent someone on Thursday. I let them know that 100% we would have someone to meet the plumber when he arrived.

I got a call on Thursday that I missed - for some reason my cell phone didn't ring. I called him back 25 minutes later and confirmed he could come anytime, he said he was already on another job and they'd ""put me back on the schedule"". In 25 minutes? When we have 3 people in the house that could have met him when he arrived (and we made that clear)?

I called Four Seasons and they sent someone in 2 hours. Might be a bit more expensive, but worth every penny for the reliability.

Don't work with Yerkes. Just don't.

These guys are the absolute best on the south side. They have a number of extremely good plumbers on staff and they do their absolute best to come out asap. Not super cheap, but some of the most professional contractors I've ever dealt with.
