Lately I have needed the services of several different types of home repair to be disappointed every time until today. I have dealt with people just not showing up, giving a bid and me excepting the bid and then they just don't show up again. But this morning I called John The Plumber and he asked me to email him my address so I did and about a half an hour later I got a telephone call saying they were about 12 minutes from my house would I be home and I answered of course. They came in, they evaluated my problem and it was a minor problem thankfully. They fixed the problem in short order and explained that they would not be charging me. When I had called him this morning I fully expected them to come in and rip out a wall and tell me I had to pull up flooring because of the leak that I had inside the wall. I fully expected a bill of hundreds of dollars and I almost cried when they told me they weren't going to charge me. After being so thoroughly disappointed by both a painter and a carpenter I was absolutely amazed at the level of service and the level of commitment and in the end the absolute kindness. So needless to say I recommended John The Plumber very highly. Thank you so much for making my day!

I called John about leak I found in my basement. He came out the next day with his daughter Amber. While he was there, I showed him two other unrelated plumbing issues I had and they took care of all three in a short time. His rates were straight up with no surprises, at a fraction of the cost of all those big name companies. I made sure to get business cards for all my friends, family and coworkers. We all know how hard it is to find a reliable and trustworthy company to get the job done right without cleaning out your savings. The bonus is they are a family business instead of a big name company. I won't call anyone else for my plumbing. Thanks John and Amber!

Efficient, hard working, clean, and friendly.

Just a few words to describe our time with John the Plumber. We were given an estimate from another company for our whole house re-pipe + water heater that just didn't seem fair and so my father-in-law called John the Plumber on our behalf to come give us a second opinion. John and his assistant Amber came out within a few days. Both were very friendly and made fast friends with my chihuahua and my daughter (9 months old). As they made their way around looking at what needed done, John was educating my husband and I the whole time. What needed done, why it needed done, history of the old pipes and quality of the new pipes. I never once felt concerned, panicked or confused because of John's explanations. After the numbers were presented it was a no-brainer to go with John the Plumber.

John and Amber came out again to do the work. They were fast, but not lacking in care or detail. When they were done in one spot, they cleaned up and moved on to the next. At the end of their work they made sure everything was left better than when they arrived. If a problem arose, John was able to take a moment to design a way around it. My house is 96 years old, so he had to do this a few times. When the work was done, he made sure that my husband and I were satisfied, he walked us around as he tested all of the water, answered our questions if we had them. He assured us that if problems came up after he left that he was only a call away and he'd get here as soon as possible.

I am fully and utterly satisfied with the work John and Amber did in my home. This is one of the easiest 5 star reviews I've written. I will be calling John the Plumber again for any plumbing needs that I have in the future!

Needed a new hot water heater. Quote was acceptable. Work done in a very timely manner, except they left me with a hole in the floor that we have to cover. I called requesting he check the water heater as the temp is now scalding, he said he would stop by to check. Not a word back.

Had a great experience with John. I live out of state and have a rental property that was having an issue with the shower. Tenant could not shut the water off in the shower, had to shut off the water to the entire house. John went out the same day, fixed the problem and when I called to inquire he told me there would be no charge because it was an easy fix. I insisted on paying him something and will be using him in the future if the need arises. I couldn't recommend John more, he is an honest plumber who does not overcharge, which is a rarity in the plumbing business it seems.

I called at 0630 A.M. and John was at our house by 9:00 A.M. and my new hot water heater was installed by 11:30am. My husband said he was very professional.
We will use John for any Plumbing needs in the future!!!!

I had John come out to look at my water heater. He quickly figured out the problem and said man I don't want to charge you for such a easy fix , so he told me how to fix it and I did and it worked! I mean who does that these days? It would have cost me a few hundred if I payed someone else. If I have any future problems I'll definitely go to him. He helped restore a little bit of faith I still have in humanity, highly recommended.

I called John with a problem he attempted to help me resolve over the phone. My lack of confidence entailed him to come by. Within 90 minutes he stopped by resolved My dilemma, when I asked how much, he refused compensation and said call me when you have a real problem. He told me what part to buy, where to purchase it and how to install it. He is the epitome of INTEGRITY and HONESTY a throwback to a bygone lost era. John the plumbers is a name I will remember for the rest of my life. This guy is not only knowledgeable, honest, and reliable, but he truly loves to help others. If the world had more people like John, we would all be better off. He was able to provide me guidance on how to repair my own water heater. I have never met a plumber who actually gave advice on how to do it on your own without charging a fee. I would highly recommend working with John for any water heater or plumbing tasks. he loves what he does, and truly helps others. Keep it up, John!
